Sutter not coaching U-20's

TSN says that coach Sutter will not be back for a chance to get back to back to back gold at the U-20's. He says he wants to stay and focus on his WHL team instead.

Price and Latendresse both look to be a key part of Team Canada's success next year.

The guy is 12 and 0 and some people are happy he is not back .

Some of my friends said one day, the Habs would go 82 and 0 and yet poeple like Bergeron and all would still find ways to complaint...

I dont think so. They usually get a coach who's into Junior. Maybe Clement Jodoin, who was assistant coach last year.

too bad

I think if sutter stayed, we would have found out if Gui has matured at all over the past year.

I just hope gui doesn't get a free pass now.

You're right Julien would probably bench the whole team anyway...

And this is why lats should stay another year in jr so he can use the wjc as a confidence boost like alot of young NHL players.

Pierre McGuire said that he heard Craig Hartsburg's name mentionned with Jodoin being involved.

Julien coached them once before (2000 - bronze), remember. Once a coach moves on, Hockey Canada tends not to bring them back.
