Now that the Braves are out I just need the Giants and Nationals gone too, then I wouldnt mind seeing any of the other teams win.

One game playoffs should only be played by teams tied at the end of the season. Bud Selig is a moron. A team battles for 162 games deserves at least 3 games. This is not march madness Bud. Fn ****** bag.
Ps The TBS annoncers sound like they're calling a funeral.

I sure as hell hope not, he played most of the season like he didnt care and his off field issues are huge concern. Ruben said the other day they are looking to upgrade in right handed hitting, which exclude him.

Right... just saying anybody would like 40 hrs and 100 rbis.

I think I'd prefer Upton though

Awesome, I'll go make my girlfriend wear a bunch of pink Phillies gear while wondering why Werth has been so silent for us this season.

Almost back to back No-No's, impressive either way. Didn't someone get closer a year or two ago? Verlander maybe?

My Sports History class had a post-test extra credit trivia question of what was the most unbreakable record in baseball. My Professor's opinion (therefore, the "correct" answer) was Johnny Vandermeer's 2 consecutive no-hitters. I went with Cy Young's number of W's. To this day, I'm still more certain about my answer being correct

It may or may not have been required for my Sports Management degree

Something tells me I made a wrong turn when deciding my major in college. And after all of it, I work in an industry where my degree has zero purpose. The only thing it did for me was get me in the door for their Management Trainee program. Should have been a Sports Management major is basically what I'm getting at.

I work in Transportation for a railroad, despite having degree in Journalism. The only thing I use my degree for is to write up neat, factual, and concise reports. The rest of my day is spent babysitting Locomotive Engineers and Conductors that have zero motivation to earn their lucrative salaries. If I had known that I would end up in this industry, I would have done something in school that at least allowed me study one of my biggest passions... sports.

I graduated last year with a Sports Management degree, and I now have a job in gaming business development with Andrea Electronics.

Oh it's got PLENTY of jobs....just very few open. More candidates graduating with that degree than there are available jobs unfortunately. Plus it's very experience driven. Unless you know someone high up, you have to bust your tail to even get your foot in the door. I'm out of college and still doing internships, because I was told I need more experience by a professional team.
