Fan Rally

Matteo from WeWantaCup.com is organizing a fan rally to commemorate what should be the season opener for the Leafs. The response has swung from outrage to support. THoughts?

I'll actually be in the area around that time Saturday. Going to do a walk-by just to see how poor the turnout is.

The Facebook group linked to the article has a mere 10 people committed to going.

If they really want to make a splash, the best way is to schedule it in a place where the fans already are, as opposed to a place where fans have to go out of their way to attend. The Marlies home opener, for example, will not only have 5,000+ hockey fans attending but also members of management (Burke, keep in mind, has been the Leafs rep in negotiations). If you want to send a message via a banner or chant, that would be the time.

Stop making sense, you are sounding far to intellectual to be here.
