That brunner plays better then omark is something you made up your self(proswiss), what i heard from fans and read in the news is omark the best player in the team and creating offence almost every shift out there. But swiss leauge doesnt says to much what nhl success you have in the future. For omark its good to get massive toi and build up his confident after last seasons footinjury and pressboxing.I think some other nhl teams is willing to take a shot at him and we in the oilers got something back in return.

Brunner has proved himself in switzerland for 3 years now and last year he was in the top of points, hes a late bloomer and certainly worth a look.could be intresting to watch if they run a omark zetterberg Brunner line when Z comes there.

Perhaps that's a question for the Calgary board, and not the RED WINGS board?

It's actually something I've been discussing there.

I think though the fact that I've been trying to KILL the Hudler argument in this thread and you guys won't let it die says something...

Oh. I must be on drugs.
I thought you were trying to keep the Hudler debate going with claims like...
"Hudler might be the first line center" in Calgary.

Damn, I think I just flamed myself. 5 points!

But you're finding that it's hard to kill something you've started.

We'd need Eva's face to go over Dr. Frankenstein's.

I only brought up Hudler in reference to the fact that signing Brunner - a maybe from the Swiss league - helped push him out of town. I ultimately think signing Brunner is good, and that the Bertuzzi signing was a bad idea. But I was trying to keep any Hudler related talk within the context of the Brunner signing. As per the fact that this is a BRUNNER SIGNING thread.

I'm not the one who dragged it off into "Let's talk about Jiri, baby" land.

Zetterberg togheter with Brunner in Zug. Hopefully they'll find some chemistry and bring it to NHL when, and if, the season starts.
