Would there be any merit to a trade around Bryan Little for David Krejci? I know Little would be better suited for RW, and the Bruins seem to have a top 6 of Lucic/Marchand LW, Seguin/Bergeron/Krejci Centre, Horton RW. The Jets could use a natural centre for the first line rather than slotting Little in between Wheeler and Ladd, although he isn't terrible in the middle.
Would Boston (or Bruins fans) consider something like this? Would Winnipeg have to add much, if any? Little is 24 and on his last year before RFA. Krejci is 26 and has a few years left on a 5.2M contract...thoughts?
Could be a very nice trade. Not sure what the Bruins needs are, to be honest. Probably the Jets would add a pick and maybe a prospect, depending on how much value Krejci has, even that is debatable in itself.
I've always been against the proactive approach to trading Krejci. The whole premise of moving him is wrong to begin with (Bruins need him as Seguin will not play center for them). Even if Winnipeg adds its just not enough to entice the Bruins because ultimately they downgrade in on ice talent for next year which makes no sense for them. Only way the Bruins trade Krejci would be that hes part of a larger deal that would bring a top end goal scorer in which the Bruins add to Krejci.
David Krejci had one less goal than Little last year, and he'll pass to a tree before he shoots the puck. Not to mention he's one of the most important players of our core.
Kane and Bogosian are the only two people in Winnipeg that spark our interest. Obviously, Krejci isn't worth much compared to them, but Krejci is only being moved for a top-line goal scorer, with even more in Kane with his physicality, or a top-pairing dman. If anything, we start a deal and add from Krejci.
Contrary to the common thought here, Seguin is in absolutely no rush to move to center, and there's not much of a reason to trade Krejci.
Well, talk to me when one of those two lead the NHL playoffs in scoring... or at least put up a + season.
Right. Well I'm not interested in either team so I won't be "talking to you" when anything happens, but I'll just point out that by the same logic you could say the Oilers would have to give up RNH and Taylor Hall for Krejci because neither has ever been a plus player.

Krejci is a superior player than Little. The Jets would absolutely have to add.
A trade around Krejci and Little.
OP obviously recognized that. The question is what would Winnipeg realistically have to add? Don't put the players that are obviously untouchables (you know who they are) but come up with a realistic proposal. If there is none that fits the Bruins needs, then so be it.
He's a big body capable of playing at both ends of the ice, and when motivated he can dominate a game. When put with physical players and used in a checking role, he is effective physically.
Also, he has missed 14 games in the past two seasons, including playoffs. Krejci has missed 12.
And you must have missed the part where you get a solid, NHL-ready all-around forward prospect with second-line upside.
Not much to work with here. The Jets aren't going to add significantly to Little to get Krejci as that makes no sense for the Jets, and the Bruins are in no hurry to trade Krejci, certainly not for a similar player in Little.
