This may be the most important decision you make in 2012.

Do we give Feds #16 or does the voting start over?

I would have given him (or Modin) #16 but then again Boucher for example went from previously 3 or 4 votes to just 1 over the past couple polls so perhaps we do need another round to decide #16...

Opinions?

New poll. Close races don't neccessarily birth the de facto next guy.

but as for right now, the race is tied, so we may need a barn fight to resolve #15.

Need to implement Chicago style election protocol for this. Vote early, vote often.

For whatever reason the poll was extended and Feds got another vote. Pretty sure it said "this poll is closed" when I put up the new one...

I extended it another day, since they were still tied. That was around 9:30am, about an hour after the previous deadline had passed. My interpretation of a runoff is to determine a single winner, and since we're in a lockout and not a whole lot else is going on...a little bit of silly controversy during a presidential election cycle couldn't have come at a better time.

I made my 'make them both mods' post at 11am, at which point, they were still tied.

The #17 voting was put up at 11:13am, and I was away from the boards for a few hours after my 11am post. But I can relatively safely assume there was not a change in votes during those 13 minutes. If you want to give #15 to both of them, I'm cool with that.

Outrageous!

Do we need a poll on what to do next?

A. Keep 'em both tied at #15 and proceed as planned (keep #17 poll open).
B. Give Feds #15, give Modin #16 and keep #17 poll open.
C. Give Feds #15, close #17 poll and do a #16 poll including Modin.
