Great point, forgot about that. Youre also right about his skating but he could be one of those long term projects.

Okay, done streaming for good. I got another more threatening email. They're telling me it's illegal and will threaten me with legal action if it happens again. Interesting that you try to be super secret but people always find out.

I'd like to email him back and tell him what I think about it, but I'll keep my mouth shut. There were a total of 4 people watching today who wouldn't be subscribing to CHL packages anyways. And what's the difference between streaming for a few people and having friends over to watch the game? Copyright law is amazing.

Maybe if CHL streaming packages weren't ridiculously priced we'd all subscribe.

Thanks guys. Last thing I'd need is a huge fine for streaming to a couple people haha.

Crappy dealz man. I'd agree that you should stop and avoid any future issues. I wonder if it's still ok for you to put up clips/highlights? Probably... hopefully...

Thanks for changing my post I was at the gym.

Glad Brassard got a well deserved point.

I'll still do that. There's plenty of it on Youtube so if he picks on just me that'd be rude.

Hockey's Future Fall Rankings started to come out today...

41-50

Trouba cracks the rankings at #49. I imagine only Scheifele will be in the top 40 (longshot that Postma would be there but I doubt it especially since Postma is ranked behind Trouba in Jets rankings).

Quote:
49. Jacob Trouba, D, Winnipeg Jets
Height: 6-2, Weight: 187, Not ranked

A powerful, all-purpose defender, Jacob Trouba spent the 2011-12 season as the primary shutdown defenseman for the USNTDP and both the U20 and U18 teams at the international level. While he certainly proved to be capable of using his size, powerful skating, and hard-nosed style to be a dominant shutdown defenseman, that picture is only the surface of Trouba's potential. He also has a booming shot and the puck skills to both pass the puck on the breakout or skate it out of the zone himself. Trouba's decision-making is still considered somewhat raw, but his presence is always noticeable on the ice. His offensive upside has yet to really translate into points at any level yet, but the Jets hope they found a mobile, top-pairing defender capable of making an impact in all situations.

Red Deer Rebels 3 - Swift Current Broncos 2
Last Updated: Final
Lowry: 0-0-0 +0 0PIM

Lowry nailed a dude in the middle of the 2nd.
Lowry a bit slow to get off the ice 6 mins into the 3rd. Looks like a charlie horse, should be fine.

Trouba was the guy I was hoping we would get on draft day (based on who I felt the BPA would be when we drafted)......if we missed him it was Faksa I wanted.

I absolutely loved his style of game at the WJC last year and am looking forward to seeing him play again this year. I think he will be a two to three year project but will be a very good asset at some point for the Jets.

The game is tomorrow - whoops, sorry for the bad info.

I guess I was so excited by the prospect of one day attending a game on $2.25 Beer Tuesday that I lost all concept of time and space.

I don't agree with it, but what do I know. I don't think they're taking into account the fact that he played a hell of a lot of hockey before ending up in St. John's.

They even stated so much when he played with them in the Calder Cup playoffs.

Lowry's already had a damn good chance down the wing. He's really good at getting around defencemen. I always forget how much of a giant he is.

Doesn't look like official stats are up yet but Michigan won their exhibition against University of Windsor 7-3.

Judging by the teams twitter feed it sounds like Trouba got at least one assist off a team mate scoring on a rebound from one of his shots.

Edit: Guess stats are up after all
