Leafs - Predators

Grabovski for Colin Wilson. Add on either side, dont care. Just want Wilson on the Leafs.

I don't see why Toronto would give up their only top-6 centre , regardless of how high you are on Wilson.

This seems horrible for Toronto...This would leave their #1-2 center punch as Bozak and Connolly? Nice.

Size down the middle. Protection for Kessel. Add on the predators side, maybe a mid round pick or a prospect

You make these kind of deals if you want Jones or MacKinnon on your team.

Unless the plan is to do a rebuild, there's just too much short term pain in these kind of deals.

Ok guys, you can come up with other proposals here. Kind of left it open cause I didn't know how much value people still thought Wilson held.

Wilson is gonna be a very good player.Different type of player compared to Grabs.
Age difference say the Leafs need to add a bit say a prospect or a draft pick.
Grabo being a legit #2 and Wilson accomplishing virtually nothing says no.

Grabo at Wilsons age wasn't even good enough to make the NHL.
Wilson in his 1st 3 seasons has accomplished as much or should i say more than Grabo did in his 1st 3 seasons. Taking in consideration that Wilson is only 22 while Grabo is 28 and looking at both players 1st 3 season i would say it pretty conceivable that Wilson will be a 2nd line center by the time he hit 28 also.
Add the additional 6 yr of age i would say Leafs add at least a prospect or a draft pick.

Add a pick to Wilson and I'd do it, how's Wilson + 2nd/3rd in '13 for Grabovski?

Reimer for Rinne+?

Rinne at Reimer's current age wasn't even in the NHL yet. Rinne didn't make it to the NHL full time until he was 25. Reimer already has 71 games under his belt by the age 24. You add to make up for the age difference.

Grabovskis one of those guys who isnt going anywhere, only behind Kessel and Dion and Riemer in terms of being untouchable (minors excluded)

Would love to have Wilson but not at the cost of Grabo.

This made no sense at all. Grabovski is the better player, more accomplished and has already proven to be a good 2C. How in the world does Wilson have more trade value? I can already tell you who I would want on my team for the present as well as the future.

Wilson may one day become a good 2C but Grabovski already is.

Leafs center depth after deal: Wilson, Bozak, McClement, Steckle, Lombardi.

Mother of God that's bad. The Leafs need to just target that elusive #1 center and stop worrying about the 2nd, 3rd and 4th lines.

This move would set the Leafs back even further.

Now your trying to compare an average 2nd liner to one of the better goalies in the league today.

Guess you would rather have Komi over Calvin de Haan or T. Bosak over Chris Kreider.

Funny, I thought I was comparing one of the better goalies in the league today to another goalie.

I haven't really followed Wilson too much since he was drafted, has his projected upside been downgraded at this point? I would have thought that a Wilson - Grabo swap would be a fairly good deal for Toronto, that is if Wilson still projects to be that strong 2-way 2nd line center that he was projected to be in the 2008 draft.
