Now they say 4.5... Was in bed and it took me a couple of seconds before I realized I should maybe get out of bed. I would've failed in a more dangerous situation.

From what I hear it sounds exactly like the 4.0 earthquake we had down here in DC a year ago...l had no idea what an earthquake was like until then, as I've never lived in an earthquake zone...

Seriously since when does eastern NA get two earthquakes in two years?

It wasn't that bad for me. I played NHL 13 through it.

Now that everyone seems good, and no injuries are reported, can we do this again? I missed half of it thinking that I was just shaking in my bed lmao

At least for us it was in the middle of the day, meaning extra free time.

Where did you use to live? I mean, I would never have thought about a zone having no earthquakes that can be felt.
Eastern NA does get earthquakes every year, "strong" one like this one, maybe once every 5 years, although we got a bit more than usual I would say in the last 5 years or so.

2012 brah!

the Lower St. Lawrence Seismic Zone (LSZ) is a seismically active region of eastern Canada. As most earthquakes occur under the St. Lawrence River, between the regions of the Quebec North Shore and the Lower St. Lawrence, this zone is sometimes refered to as the "Lower-St. Lawrence-Quebec North Shore" Seismic Zone.

It's to be expected

God damn it. Was in the metro when it happened. Someone texted me afterwards asking me if I felt it or not and I was like ''Chu talkin bout Willis?''. Now it's all confirmed.
