Top 3 goalies of the last 3 decades

Who do you believe are the top 3 goalies in the last 30 years??
In my opinion it would be....
Marty: For his records and longevity in the game
(1a.) Ste. Patrick: Yes, he had more cups but he had better teams.
3. Dominator : he revolutionized the position and bore whole new style of goalie, style was strenuous on him and he physically broke down.

Hasek when at the top of his game was better than the other two IMO. But he had a shorter career.

I put all 3 in the top 5 all-time. But it's definitely Roy. The guy is the best goalie to ever play the game and was revolutionary to the position

Uhhh... he became a pro hockey player at the age of 16. He retired when he was 47.

He's had a much longer career than Brodeur or Roy.

Hasek joined the NHL at age 26 and played in 735 NHL games.

Roy age 19, 1029 NHL games.
Brodeur age 21, 1191 NHL games.

Hasek's "career" was longer, but his NHL career was much shorter, and the NHL is the only place we can directly compare those 3 goalies.

To me, it's clearly a two-horse race between Roy and Hasek. I prefer Hasek because of his extraordinary style and absolute domination between 1993-1999. Roy, I think, is the best playoff goalie (player?) of all time; it really comes down to how you weigh playoff success and regular season results.

Brodeur is an all-time great, but I don't think there's a good argument for placing him ahead of St. Patrick or Dominator unless you really value games played. His peak level just doesn't compare with those two.

Why does Brodeur not get any love?

Is it the trap system? Or the fact that his numbers have started to decline as he's gotten closer and into his 40's?

I agree that Hasek is the best of the three, but IMO Brodeur is on par with or ahead of Roy on the all-time list.

Roy.

Hasek basically played his entire career in the dead puck era.

Hasek has one this poll for the last few years every time it is done by a landslide. It is done once a week! It must end!
