Something is wrong there big time. Culture has to change. The fact Thrower was benched for so long suggests a lot of what is happening is related to him. Perhaps he was unhappy with the coaching staff and spoke out of turn and the coach did not like it. Who knows, but in their Memorial Cup hosting season, they HAVE to be better than this. They know it and I am sure the added pressure is not helping. If they dont fire the coach soon they are in trouble.

No they have not lost anyone really that I can think of. If anything they should be better cause Sutter, Dietz and Thrower have one more year of experience. Makarov is pretty bad though...

Not sure what to say about the Blades, I live in Saskatoon but haven't been able to make it to a home game yet. Gotta start wondering if head coach Lorne Molleken doesn't start feeling the heat soon. He's outright blamed the players for the last few seasons of poor playoff showings and changed alot of players over the last 2 seasons....eventually the microscope has to be turned to him.

People beat me to it, but Bozon just keeps putting up points. I think he'll be able to improve on last year's(good) numbers.

Yah I think Dipietro and Esposito are just on there for the lulz.

For the Habs on that list you missed Antoine Corbin who just signed with the 'Dogs and clocks in at #5 on the search list. Pretty amazing how crazy Habs fans are (well not really if you are one).

I watched some of the game, the Blades looked terrible, especially the PP as it didn't seem to be able to do much of anything. I thought Dietz looked solid as well and Thrower had some troubles with the puck in his own end, making some risky plays, although had the puck not bounced on him I think he would have scored a beauty on the PP when he pinched in down low.

Archambault was easily the best player for Drummondville. You can see he has the skills, but decision making was so-so a few times, where he should have passed and he shot or vice versa. He was quick on the backcheck, though, but he stayed on the ice too long a few times.

Other player I noticed was Daniel Audette (16 yo). He is small, but he has great hands and a nice vision too. I thought he played great (1 goal, 1 assist), even doing some good plays in his own zone, even though it's not his strength and never will be.
I tried watching this game but the feed was really bad. The Volts didn't look very good at all but I didn't really notice much from Archambault (turned it off before he scored) Agreed on Audette, thought he stood out the most although it could have been the name that got my attention.

Well he is not stealing games that's for sure. To be fair, the Blades five man cohesive team structure is very loose, disorganized and simply looks confused. Did they even have a training camp?

If Daniel is anything like his Dad draft him when he's eligible and trade up ahead of Buffalo to make sure we get him.

I think Molleken is in serious trouble here and the inmates may be running the asylum. Thrower's benching was for something...Coach or player??? Blades just seem disinterested.

Just finished watching Bozon for the third time since becoming Habs property. I've been very impressed with him. I think he may be the best pure goalscorer in our prospect pool.

Bozon looks very tall out on the ice, but lanky. The style of game that he plays means that he needs he too add strength if he wants to be effective at not only the NHL level, but even at the WHL level. You tell there's time he wants to hit to hurt, but it just doesn't happen. Specifically last night, he took a run at someone like right at the beginning of the game, but he just wasn't strong enough to knock him down. Another time Bozon went to hit someone but ended up going knee on knee with them. I do appreciate how he finishes all his checks and has a level of commitment to defence that you don't see in comparable players. Bozon does have a lot of work to do defensively. His passing well accurate, always seems a little to hard for the the recipient to handle. I'm not sure whether that has to do with his passes, or his teammates.

Now on to the good. As I mentioned I think he's the best pure goal scorer in our prospect pool and I have good reasoning for that. He's got a hard wrist shot and he's got great hands. He darts in and out of those scoring areas and is willing to go to the front of the net. Most of the chances he creates offensively come from him doing what he does best, shooting. Bozon always makes the goalie works when he shoots too. I love how he always has his head up. He's never looking at the puck, even when he his (mainly in puck battles), he knows when his teammates are. He's a deceptively fast skater and it only takes him a few steps before he's gone. Bozon is also an active participant in scrums and is always willing to dish out a facewash or two.
