Devils at Capitals (Gif Madness)

GDT: DEVILS AT CAPITALS

Surprise! There is no game tonight.

Instead there's a lockout. The NHL and NHLPA are basically doing this every day they keep this up.

You know, at first I felt like this young woman about the lockout

Then I started getting really mad. With every ridiculous attempt to spin the other side as evil at the end of every negotiating session, I was more like this

But now I'm in a happy place.

So just sit back and enjoy Yankeees playoffs, Rutgers undefeated run, Giants awesomeness, Jets circusness, streaming Albany Devils games, soccer.

And if you start getting upset about the lockout again, just do this:

And lastly, may Obi Wan Kenobi pay a visit to Fehr and Bettman

Goodnight folks. May this lockout end soon and I will see you at the Rock.

How about for the Caps? Holtby?

Will the best Caps defenseman of all time be in the lineup?

Last time we played Holtby, we shut them out 5-0 while John Maclean was still coach which was probably the only dominant win while he was coach.

Maybe Tedenby can score another penalty shot goal?

At least the boys are excited about the lockout.

Though, to be fair, Larsson always looks like that.

October 13, 2012:

The New Jersey Devils started off their season with a four - to - one victory over the projected Southeast Division champion Washington Capitals. Brayden Holtby stopped 32 of 36 shots, and all 13 in the first period. Patrik Elias notched two goals within forty-five seconds of eachother at the start of Period two, while Alexander Ovechkin scored an assist on a Backstrom goal 13:37 into the second period. A line brawl broke out at the end of the second, sending David Clarkson and Dainius Zubrus off the ice with 10 minute misconducts along with a frustrated Mike Green and Alexander Ovechkin. Halfway through the third period, Ilya Kovalchuk was hooked on a breakaway and was rewarded a penalty shot, and scored to make it 3 to 1 New Jersey. The final knife in the back of the Capitals was when Holtby left the net with 1:32 left in the game, and Adam Henrique scored on the empty net.

Sounds good! We'll be seeing you guys in what? 4 nights? I saw you guys chased Jonathan Quick in LA! Wrecked the banner raising game!

I like your post, but I also wanna see JA#39049504950490 take on the game.

''Marty the whale was pulled 8 minutes in, Ovy, and Semin each got hat trick in those first 8 minutes, Devils can't score without Parise, blah blah blah blah''
