Stéphane Leroux, a QMJHL reporter for RDS, says that "it's a safe bet [Roy] will get a positive response" from Sabres management regarding Grigorenko staying in Québec for the rest of the season, regardless of the status of the lockout.
It's very important for Roy to know since third Euro Nikita Kucherov is getting healthy and a decision has to be made on who to keep in their future plans.
As has always been the case, Nick Sörensen will likely be moved and Leroux speculates that it could be to Drummondville or Rouyn and that it could happen relatively soon.
It's too bad that someone has to be the odd man out, but I think Sörensen will succeed wherever he goes.
He's looked very good so far.
lol i was on that. then it dropped out right when Armia scored. now it's back.
Ryan looks pretty damn good over there.
You can see he's a good player, however so far he's yet to find his place with this team, he's been bounced around from 1st to 3rd line, from center to both wings, so far he's not gelled with anyone really. He's now playing in a line with Mika Niemi and Armia, bot Ässät pedigree players, and it's working on some level at least
