Yeah, I knew what it was for.. But it gets overdone in a lot of sports. Especially football

OK, that was definitely the story of Clarke forgetting G's name. Awesome.

That actually WAS the story about Clarke and G's name.
Eisbären's PK looks horrendous btw. Someone should explain them the term "box".

For the love of god, please let the NHL resist the temptation of advertising on uniforms.

It's so weird. That older guy is speaking German, but it sounds like he saying it with an American accent.

He was.
Sometimes it is hilarious to listen to US and Canada born players, coaches and GM's trying to speak German.
But still better than listening to some bavarian guy trying to explain hockey.

I actually took 4 years of German in high school and 1 year (3rd level) in college. Sadly my teachers were pretty terrible and I didn't have anyone to speak to really. My German has gone to pretty much nothing since... however, when the one gentlemen was talking during the intermission (I believe he is the GM or owner for Eisbaren?) I could tell what he was saying by his tones? I guess it's like you said... a canadian or US accent in German... it was just easier to follow for me.
So far I've gotten things like "Eisbären in blau" :-P
