It's hard not to root for Ian Desmond and Drew Storen, who had some nice quotes in a Gazette article about the Expos. Desmond was the last 1st round pick and Storen was a former Expos batboy (his dad played in the same minor league system as an Expos coach, so Drew got to be the batboy in some midwest cities).

I tuned into the last two innings -- the first time I've seen as much as a pitch involving the WalGnats since the Expos left Montreal. I was feeling so down when it looked like the game was over but right now I am absolutely ecstatic.
