That's obscene. Especially when NHL Gamecentre was about that last season. I'm not sure how anyone could justify paying that for AHL games.

I think ill have to do it. I Cant justify it, but since there is a lookout and i need to get my hockeyfix from somewhere, i dont have much of a choice

Too bad you cant pay on a monthly basis. I proimise that a week after i buy the season-pass the NHL lockout will be over

I know at the tail end of last season there was a place and a dude streaming alot, if not all of the AHL.

I know BangBodies plans on doing Pens games hopefully but i'll keep a look out for if this streamer gets it back up and running again. /fingers crossed

I'm going to the Lake Erie Monsters (Avalanche farm team) game tonight vs OK City Barons. Get to watch Eberle, the Nudge and Paajarvi. Plus former Baby Pens Walker, Lerg, and good old Bill Thomas are on the Monsters this year. It's no Penguins hockey but it's better than nothing.

The Marlies play Rochester tomorrow night. If the lockout persists, they'll be two decent teams to watch. Thinking of heading down and buying tickets if my wisdom tooth extraction doesn't get in the way of it.

Yeah the monthly plan would make more sense, for sure.

You can buy it per game. Probably a better way to go if you're not sure.

Thanks SidTheKid!

Also, is this thread being used kind of like a GDT?

Purchased the game tonight, now it looks like the AHL Live site is blowing up so I can't watch it...

Playing 7 d-man, 11 forwards
Zatkoff starting

don't think Dumoulin is playing if I'm hearing right, hope I just missed it though I know they said Grant and Mormina are both playing

Games about to get underway.
Finally some Penguins hockey that means something.

Nevermind. Anthems first.
Can't wait to see Morrow and Bennett.

Quality is pretty dire on this. Looks about 480p at best. Audio is pretty choppy as well.

Go Baby Pens! ... (I'd almost be curious to see a poll of what Hf'ers would be willing to pay for AHL access. I really wonder about some of these price points, and whether they make sense ... or what sort of other factors beyond just selling the thing at whatever price brings in the most revenue might be at play.)
