Leggio was great in that shootout. Nice shot by Mancari to end it. Overall, not a great effort.

Mancari wins it!
What a save by Leggio on Connolly too. Great performance by him stopping all 5 shooters.

What a game from Leggio..Wow.
Didn't catch the whole game, but was very impressed with what I saw of Pysyk -- pretty much as advertised (smooth and smart). Thought McNabb's skating looked improved from last year as well. And, man is it great having Mancari back. Great game from him.

Tropp and Kaleta can split games 50/50 at the NHL level with the way that they get lined up every game. You would think that two players who run everyone in sight would keep their head up better.

Bad news for Tropp - he may be out for a while.
Kevin Oklobzija @kevinoDandC - #Amerks RW Corey Tropp gets hurt (right leg) when smashed into the boards by #Crunch D Radko Gudas. Still, he hobbles to deep slot on PP.
Kevin Oklobzija @kevinoDandC - Tropp ended up hobbling to #Amerks bench and, as he was going off, Mark Mancari picked the top left corner with a perfect wrister. 5-5.
Kevin Oklobzija @kevinoDandC - No Corey Tropp on #Amerks bench. Injury appeared to be knee or ankle when he left ice.
Kevin Oklobzija @kevinoDandC - #Amerks RW Corey Tropp on crutches afterward. Not a good sign. No real report on status from coach Ron Rolston.
Kris Sattora @gdsmack267 - Looked like his knee got pinched against the boards as he was hip checked. Looked pretty bad.

Having just came back from the game, I'd agree to a point. The Amerks race to a 4-1 lead, then let the Crunch get back into it. Rochester seemed to have a LOT of problems at times clearing the puck out of their own end.
Also: Leggio didn't have the greatest game(and I think he'd be the first to tell you that). But when he was needed to keep the game close, he did it.
LS: I saw Tropp hobble over to the bench as well just before the Amerks got the game-tying goal; the impression I got was that he got busted in the mouth. HOPEFULLY, Corey's injury isn't that bad.
First impressions on the new guys: Pysyk didn't embarrass himself-and showed a flash or two of being a shutdown D-man. Plus, getting your first pro goal doesn't hurt.
As for Girgensons, I didn't notice anything bad or good out of him.
