There are two shops around here that I usually will look to first, but one is way over priced and the other has a smaller, but still good, selection of stuff (PIAS).
The closest shop with anything (literally, not just crappy selection. nothing) is Hockey X which is a nice 80 minute drive one way and I don't trust my car to make it that far so I'm kinda stuck with ordering online.

If you're willing to put me up, done deal.
But for real, theres not really a big selection for equipment by me. Theres a HM outlet in jersey like an hour away, but the one store by me really doesn't carry alot/new equipment. Living in NYC has its perks, but playing hockey is not one of them
today I pinked out some of my stuff for breast cancer awareness (just played in a hockey beats down cancer tournament so I could have had better timing, but better late than never)
Today I'm recovering from last night's Father/Son drop-in which ended up being pretty brutal. 4 on 4 2 subs on one bench 1 sub on the other. at least we had goalies. fun, but i'm feeling it.
I'm also going to try taping up my elbow for tonight's game. I"ve had a chronic case of tennis elbow all year. I tried a brace last night and it didn't do jack squat.
Got my schedule for the first week of the College Intramural hockey league. First game is exhibition but seeing as how I was picked up as a free agent and the rest of the team knows nothing about me I know I have to bring my A-game.

that sounds fun! I"ve played in some intramural tournaments and what not and we've always had females on our beer league teams. we don't win a lot but we have a **** ton of fun. most of the time.

my beer league team has almost all girls on it, but they all play(ed) varsity (with a few club players as the exception) for Ohio State.. including a couple who play internationally
so much fun and so hilarious when the guys get beat by the ladies. we are like 19-2 and i would say 16 of those teams wouldn't stop chirping the girls despite losing and losing badly because god forbid a girl be better than them at a sport.

No kidding! We won a tourny and one of the girls on our teams was the point leader for the whole thing. She had guys running her weekend. Kinda bs, but I guess some dudes can't handle getting turned inside out by a hottie blondie.

I'm having the same issue. It just popped up in the last couple of weeks. I got one of those little braces specifically made for tennis elbow and it didn't do a lot. I picked up a brace by Mueller at WM and that actually is helping more. It doesn't provide a lot of support, but just enough to keep the twinges from starting until towards the end of the game.
I notice that it doesn't hurt so much while I'm playing, it's when I wake up after sleeping on it for a little while that it really hurts. I guess the lack of motion stiffens it up.

stretch your wrist and shoulder before going to sleep. make sure not to lie on your arm at night, and certainly best to keep it extended.
if you can, get a deep tissue massage on the arm. if the symptoms are relieved but not all the way, you may need graston on your forearm/biceps/triceps.
Got traded last night... got the email at midnight.
Anyway though, scored 3 points in my debut with my new team - 2 goals, 1 assist. Sniped it bar down twice. We tied 4-4.
