Backstrom/Toews > Shattenkirk + Stewart, but this is getting OT. If you are picking that high in the draft, getting "Just a good player" shouldn't be what you aim for. It's certainly possible Lindholm does exceed expectations of scouts before the draft, but hoping to get a decent player who fits a positional need instead BPA is never the right choice, imo.

First, no one is saying you shouldn't opt for the BPA, well, in the early rounds at least.

Second, we'll never know if Johnson was the BPA because unlike those other guys, his career got sidetracked by a horrendous injury.

Our management just happened to feel that Lindholm was the BPA. After watching him this weekend it isn't clear that he wasn't.

Unfortunately right as EJ was showing his potential he destroyed his knee in a freak accident, can't put that on STL

And an assist on Jarnkroks goal. 1+1 tonight for Lindholm.

Edit: And a final assist on the game winning goal 30 sec from the end. 1+2.

Lindholm with another 3 point game

Daniel Zaar, 18:29 TOI, 1G, 6 SOG, 3 hits. Surprise performance of the night!

Probably here: http://www.hockeyligan.se/elitserien-arena/38156/live/ ->Statistik ->Rögle

Zaar is probably in the mix for a spot, could work well as an energy player. On the same subject, Viktor Arvidsson has insane footspeed and he should be a lock.

Yeah, sportbladet also has "Elitserien Live" on gamedays that is easier to navigate with the same stats.

Hampus Lindholm looked great in his pro debut. He was really noticeable in the second half.

Hampus played great in the 3rd period. Great skater and when he jumps into the play he goes to the right spots on the ice, almost had a goal and almosted created another, defensively I didn't see any mistakes which is good for an 18y/o

That's nice. Is he playing anything on the PP?

A little Vatanen played most of the PP's, I didn't notice Hampus early on much but in the 3rd he really seemed to gain confidence, i can't wait to see more of him

Did I see that right? Lindholm is playing the point on the PP? In the SEL, at 18?

No I believe Jarnkrok is playing the point, but that was straight off a faceoff so it looks like Lindholm is the D. It is however the first unit.

It's;

Lindholm - Granström - Enterfeldt

Järnkrok - Gunderson

However Brynäs like to do tricky and unexpected stuff after the faceoffs. Sometimes they swap positions in the faceoffs in order to make a fast combination just after it.

Jensen with a goal against Frolunda. 6 goals in 12 games so far, I believe.
