That was the greatest pitching performance I've ever seen.

Well you were fortunate to be at a game like that. The closest thing I have to that as a Met fan is seeing them clinch the division in '06 live, but that was a fait accompli. I also saw Game 1 of the playoffs that year (a wild win over the Dodgers).

No LaRussa, Duncan, Pujols and the Cardinals are STILL trolling in the postseason.

He pitched a gem. CC is coming through with exactly what we need. I hope Andy's got some of that too.

It's the Nationals. I was expecting something like that to happen eventually. Crappy way to lose though.

since we are talking catchers. trivia time.

Name a catcher who served as both a player and a manager at the same time? And what team?

I know Pete Rose is the most recent but he wasn't a catcher. I think Bill Dickey did for the Yanks for like half a year.

Tigers make no changes to their ALCS roster, Yankees add Eppley and drop Nunez

ARod is back in tonight, lets hope he brings some value. Maybe the benching will have lit a fire under his ass.

We will lose all 4 games in this...They wanna go yard every time with the exception of Jeter Ichiro and Chavez, they suck at hitting/playing little ball

Been saying Ibanez is one of the most underrated players of this generation. Never would have guessed he had this in him at 40 years old. Unreal.
