Another thing that's killing the Steelers this year is they're getting next to nothing from their 2012 draft. DeCastro might not play this year, Adams has played poorly when he has played, Spence is missing the entire season, the DT doesn't even dress and the only late round pick to dress and play much is Paulson as an extra tight end.

If it wasn't for Rainey's output on kick returns, they'd be getting zero help this year from the draft. There's probably not another team out there getting so little from there picks this year. A lot of that is due to injury but it's still very disappointing. I would like to see Ta’amu just effing dress for a game because Hampton is old and not productive much anymore. At least take this lost season and use to find out what the young guys can do. Play Heyward more to find out if more than a Ziggy Hood clone, etc.

And your QB will throw more completions to the other team.

Kind of pleasantly surprised they kept Paulson over him with Saunders coming off his suspension.

Yeah you're right, but next year we'll have Shane Morris who is arguably the best pocket passer in the 2013 recruiting class.

Yes, and we'll have Braxton for two more years.

Yeah but Braxton Miller doesn't make the most accurate throws but he's a great scrambling QB.

Work in progress and he's only a sophomore. You have to admit though, he's a hell of a lot better passer than most of the B1G.

Yup, I can't disagree with you there. James Vandenberg and Nathan Scheelhaase have been disappointing this year.

I'd say he's a below average-to-average passer for College Football. He misses some wide open throws like Pryor. He also has poor vision. He doesn't survey the field well. He's still young. I think he just gets too anxious out there. That's why he throws some poor wobblers from time to time, too.

But then you will see a spark of brilliance out of nowhere.

Pryor couldn't throw a 5 yard pass at least Braxton can lol.

Terrell Pryor was overrated when he was on the bucks. The main reason why is because he had a great winning percentage.

Taylor Martinez is an All-American QB, he has the best arm in the NCAA.

I'd say Miller/Pryor are exactly the same player with different intangibles. Miller doesn't do anything GREAT, but he does a lot of things very well. I wish he had better vision, but he makes up for that vision with escapability. He's a good solid college QB that does a little bit of both.

But there is no way in hell I trust his arm in a big game. Same goes with Pryor. I still think Pryor could throw the ball harder (very inaccurately) and had better speed/running ability.

I think Pryor is an amazing athlete but just didn't get better in college. If he was on Michigan, PSU, WVU, or OSU... he was going to win some games for them. The problem was he was hyped up to guarantee bring a national championship. That's where his hype was a bit ridiculous.

They're similar yet different at the same time. Braxton is only going to get better while I believe Pryor didn't really get better after the 2010 Rose Bowl. The biggest difference between them is that Braxton has a good on his shoulders while Pryor had a 5 cent head.

Braxton has the speed advantage over Pryor, and it's not close. Pryor was just hard to take down.

Ha, I am loving this.

WVU is getting EXPOSED big time right now. They finally faced a good D and their Offense can't do anything successful and their D has more holes than.....

I never bought into their hype bc their D is GOD AWFUL and they've played the worst defensive teams up until today.

WVU is losing bad against Texas Tech. I knew WVU is going to lose eventually because defense is one of worst in NCAA.

can't see how you can be so certain on that point. it's a likely outcome, but far from set-in-stone. development is always an unpredictable phenomenon.

i like this read on the legacy of Denard. i wouldn't be surprised if in a few years time the same kind of answers are written about Miller.

by the way. there can only be one Braxton:
