Does the AHL have replacement refs too? How was that not a penalty when Grant was hooked to the ice at their blueline? And of course they call the Dumoulin hold seconds later...

Based on the experience so far, I'm glad I didn't get the year package if this is the norm. Video quality is poor, audio is choppy/slightly out of time, you can't put it in full screen and use another screen to do something else (it will minimize again), there's no score/time display and I almost wasn't able to watch the start of the game due to site problems. I'd say it was worth half what they're asking at best.

I was stunned that they didn't call the penalty once the missed call lead directly to a scoring chance. That's how it usually works with blatantly missed calls. The ref will just let it go unless it leads to something then let loose with the late whistle.

Another PP coming up.

No captain yet but Peters, Dupuis and Mormina wear the As. Bort is out injured, MacIntyre not in game shape yet.

Morrow is such a great hockey player. He won't be long before he hits the NHL.

Dumoulin looking rather blah so far.

Lehner is playing good for Sens. Pens dominated the last couple of minutes of the period.

Great game so far, should not be 0-0. Forward lines and D pairings seem all over the place. I notice Strait has switched to #7, Zatkoff took over #37. Morrow wears #6, Dumoulin #8.

And the commentators still have their mics open during intermissions.

Warren Peters is lookin' really good. I think if there's ever an NHL season he would be one of the first call-ups if one of the Pens' 4th Liners are hurt.

Yeah Bennet is playing he's had a couple of good chances. He do have a quick release.

That was a pretty fun period of hockey.

If only the audio wasn't a bit ahead of the stream. It kills me to hear Grace raise his voice and be a split second ahead of the action.

I have no idea how they don't know their mics are on during the breaks. This isn't the first time either when I've watched WBS streams.

If you're just listening on the radio do you still get the mics during the breaks?
