Admirals tie it up. Smith-Pelly.

EDIT: Patrick Maroon scored, not Smith-Pelly.

No Danny Groulx for Worcester last night and tonight. He is on the radio with the Lindquist tonight but just started watching the feed so have not heard why he is out. I think he would have played last night or tonight if he was healthy.

He actually looks really good. He, Sebastian Stalberg, and Travis Oleksuk have really been making things happen.

Haven't said anything more than DTD injury but he has been practicing.

Lost in the shootout. Only Sheppard scored. Man, that ****ing goaltender Bobkov just sits there and takes up the whole net.

I haven't seen anything to convince me that Oleksuk wouldn't have been on San Jose's opening day roster, he's a very good 3 zone player.

I still question why McLaren is in the lineup instead of another 'skill' player like Viedensky or Tarasov but once these guys find some chemistry this WorSharks team should be good.

I think Doherty looks better (in these two games / small sample) than he did last season, seems more confident w/ the puck - could still stand to use his size a bit more.

There's a few guys playing good hockey (Sheppard's been great) and a few guys who look like they're still outta synch. It sucks they only picked up 1 point but aside from the 1st period yesterday, I think the team looks pretty good.

Exactly, because when they're not on the ice, we all send out an SOS.

I really like Oleksuk. I think he'd have a solid chance at cracking the SJ roster too.

Also, I was expecting Doherty to look a lot worse than he did these past two games. I mean, Petrecki's been awful, but Doherty wasn't bad at all.

There was a lot of cow bell tonight for the first franchise victory. There was a full 2 minute 5 on 3 during that 5 minute major too. I was really hoping the attendance would be higher. Hopefully it trends up after the baseball season is over.

Even though the crowd was only 3,600 it was a loud group. I am also hoping attendance picks up after football and baseball is over. I know it isn't the NHL, but it is fun exciting and so far high scoring hockey.

Yup, the crowd was still great. It's definitely a more intimate experience. I wish I went to some Sharks games during the first 2 years.

No Tarasov. Hope the kid gets to play soon. Glad to see Shep getting his game back and the rookies doing well so far.
