Of course he is, don't kid yourself. I mean... the guy was a guest on Jackie's Joke Hunt.

You also have no clue what you are talking about, as I have heard Howard for years, and I've gotten very frustrated with how often he takes days off. I wish he would do more shows, but he seems to have given up. Poor guy!
No you haven't, especially if that's the reason you give. Howard has earned the power to do fewer shows because he is the most successful broadcaster in the history of radio.

You'll be right in a few months, but its not 2013 yet. He's only had that schedule since the start of 2011, which of course you know because you've followed him so much. Hang in there

Hey now. He's not irrelevant in the world of O&A and we all know how incredibly relevant that magnificent and original show is.

Show hasn't been the same since Artie left which is such a shame. Now it seems that Howard is just mailing it in and counting down the days until his contract expires so he can finally retire and move on with his life.

I can probably count the number of funny bits on one hand throughout the last several years.

Talk about some bull****.

Clowns.
Yes, & if there was no Don Imus there wouldn't have been a Howard Stern.

I go WAY the **** back with both those guys to there 660 WNBC days. I still listen to both of them.

Stern is ok, his best days are way behind him & while he still has his funny moments the show isn't shocking at all anymore. His show is more social commentery now. Which is fine, that is how most of the genre is now, there is no more shockery mainly because of the Internet.

I do prefer O&A but when they veer wildly off course I can swith over to Ellis, Howard or Imus. I like having those options.

That won't be for a while. He just signed a new contract last year.

Yes because they didn't pay him for stock awards for new subscribers he brought in. There's reason they signed him to a new $400M contract. If he didn't come over to satellite radio bringing millions of new subscribers, Sirius would have went under.

It amazes me to this day that the Sirus/XM merger turned into a Sirus takeover. XM was the stronger company & had a much better balance sheet. Sirus had nothing but debt, mostly due to Stern.

That's exactly how I feel about him now. However the odd time he'll do a bit that's very entertaining. I was completely in stitches when he criticized Tom Hanks' gangsta rapping son and Paris Hilton's new techno song...

Never listened to his radio show which back in the day was probably his best work.

I find him a tad bit annoying and funny at times. Private Parts was a decent flick.

You could cite a few entertainers as influences, but Imus definitely isn't one of them. If anything, Imus changed his show to be more like Stern after Stern started getting ratings.

I used to listen to Howard Stern. Then I come to learn that he is a deeply troubled person who targets women who have no respect for themselves and pokes fun at the mentally handicap. I'm amazed that his 1st marriage lasted as long as it did let lone him getting married again.

Yeah Fart Man was dumb. Showing his ass and farting in front of an MTV crowd back then was in bad taste. /sarcasm

The birth of baba booey and corey feldman talking to scott the engineers son as a ninja turtle were great moments on the show.

Howard is the BEST celebrity interviewer in history. The amount of material he gets out of his guests is amazing, and he know exactly the right buttons to press and how hard.
