They give us money in hockey and soccer? Or into our Tennis Duel accounts? I'll be honest, I signed up for Tennis Duel, but I don't think I ever played a match. It makes more sense to give it to our Tennis account, but your reaction makes me think it goes to hockey/soccer. That seems weird.
Hockey and soccer. It's a reward for being active and not being on autopilot.
I remember when they first started the non-Beta hockey, pulls were awesome. Level 5 was cranking out 3*+ 300 OR+ guys every (other) week. Problem there was everyone was getting a team full of superstars in no time. I'm pretty sure they changed the SA algorithm though I've never got a full admittal from any of the developers.
So after this week's finances finished up I had a look at my teams' weekly progress. Turns out my soccer team comes in +3.5M/week provided I don't build anything (this includes the new 1% daily bonus) and my hockey team comes in a whopping +46.6M/week provided I don't build anything. I feel like I should donate some of my hockey team's money to charity (aka my soccer team)!
Wow that's nice, i thought having such a big arena and high facilities and staff you would get like 3-5M daily expenses, but i guess you have high income too . I calculated my weekly income and expenses (since contracts get renewed often for both staff and players and facilities cost increase, i just counted today's expenses x 7) and it turns out i'm at just over 6M weekly income if i don't buy any players or build anything or noone breaks into my arena. I did have 2 home league games this week though so i guess the average number is about 5.7M.
If you feel like donating some of your money to the charity, i know a certain team and a GM that wouldn't mind it
Good luck today, recard If I can take 3 points today, I have a very favorable schedule to close out the season. I basically have 5 guaranteed wins, one should win match vs Phenomenon, one tough match vs the Wildcats, and two probably loses vs FC Corona and High Headerz on the road. I could finish with 80+ points. But this is soccer. Anything can happen.

+46M per week in a II league? How is that possible?
I didn't feel like digging into this right now, so I took the easy way out. (Total revenue - player/staff sales) - (total expenses - player/staff acquisition and construction).
For soccer, I am +260M this season. Around +24M per week. +2M for the Tennis Duel thing.
For hockey, +85M on the season. And +14M per week. +1M for TD.
I have to be honest, that hockey number is very surprising. So much that I now have to check that math...Huh. It seems okay to me. I think my hockey team is in a lot better shape than my soccer team. I probably have a ton of work to get the soccer staff/players in order. It's all very messy over there, but I'm making so much money that it doesn't matter

No need to check math, that's straight from the finances page. It helps that this is year 2 of 2 with a 20% bonus for playing in the CWC. That and my media deal is bigger than my general sponsor, I take in 9+M/league game and my maintenance center is lvl 13 (soon to be 14) cutting costs down BIG TIME.
You can make a penny or save a penny. If profits are stalled, cut costs. It's the only way I got from there to here. I can't emphasize that enough...
I forgot to include today in those numbers. It's actually +48M/week in hockey. Breakdown as follows...
Expenses:
Player Salary - 3.9M/week
Staff Salary - 5.2M/week
Facility Maintenance - 3.3M/week
Arena Maintenance - 10.0M/week
Other - 2M/week
_____________________________
Total - 24.4M/week
Profit:
Tickets - 23.6M/week
General Sponsor - 19.3M/week
Media Sponsor - 19.6M/week
Souvenirs - 3.8M/week
Skyboxes - 3.8M/week
Other - 2.6M/week

Total - 72.6M/week
Difference: +48.2M/week
Basically my ticket revenue covers almost all of my expenses. After that my sponsor offers are pure profit. Get your rinks built to as big of capacity as you can sell out!
I read somewhere that there is one Canadian manager that managed to get to I.1 league from III. or even IV. league in 4 seasons, does anyone know anything about this?

I'm two weeks away from being able to sell some hockey players again. Anyone over 16yo is for sale. Check out my PLAYERS. The best ones are probably Yang, Lentz, Falk, Post and Baker.

Wow. Those differences are huge. My profit dropped by 4M per week from my quick & dirty guesstimate because I forgot to remove the loan from Other. Ugh. I guess I'm making less than 9.6M per week since I have that loan to pay off. Crap.
I just checked out III.2 for the first time. I'm assuming this is where I'll end up. They have 4 teams with 79+ OTS. So I might actually be stuck down there for a couple of seasons. That's probably not the worst that could happen. I'll probably finish 3rd and then 1st to promote back with some very good OTR. Maybe I'll be in your ballpark by then.

This can't be big enough. In fact, you should rainbow-ize that mother so I can put it at the top of the newbie guides.
I'm the worst team in my league by far, but I have the best attendance. I'm averaging 5776 in my 6700 capacity Crater. There's only two other active teams above 3400!

Dammit! You got me all excited! I first read it as anyone who is 16 is for sale. I thought, odd, but okay! Then I re-read it seeing as your captain is 16 and was disheartened. On the bright side I won't be giving you any of my 190M . Jerk move tossing that out there?

Barely survived today's soccer match. I thought for sure it would be my 4th straight draw. But the Atomics hold on for the 1-0 win. Only after the game did I notice that my opponent has been playing everything on Very High. Oops.
I can't believe I actually have a chance to finish in the top 5 this season. It felt like I spent most of the time in the 9-11 range.

Anybody interested in LORIS RELOGE? I scouted him, but have to save my money for another player on Thursday.

Minimum bid is 8M. I still might bid if no one is interested. That Tech Q is definitely too low, but the shot makes up for it. Maybe.
How much does Tech affect penalties these days? My top dman's tech is 32 less than his aggression. He has 0 PIMs this season playing on the top line. His partner is -17 tech and he has 14 PIM. LD2 is -47Tech and he has 10 PIM. My team is awful compared to the rest of the league. You would think they would have more PIMs than that.
I'm debating opening up a thread on PPM for Scientific Learning and Discussion. Would anyone participate in that or would it just be a conversation among myself?

My soccer team picked up their 4th consecutive league win today and my hockey team is currently in 6th place and is still alive in the NC (although I do play the I. Force this round). Perhaps it's time to change the thread title?
-----------------------
In soccer, I received an offer for Max Mark. The amount is a decent sum, but I don't think I'll be taking it. My depth at RM is not at a point to support losing that player. It doesn't hurt that he would be going to a team with lesser facilities than mine, affecting his future development for the NT.
I picked up a goaltender early this morning, on a one-and-done bid. I didn't have the player scouted, but he was the highest AQ player in his league. He ranks 12th in USA I.1 in AQ putting him at 85 or 86 AQ. Currently he's showing as a 85.2 EQ player.
I recently went through and updated my spreadsheet for the first team in a while. CD, G, and CM have a lot of prospects, with SM needing some youth. If anyone is looking for CD, G or CM, let me know. If anyone is looking to sell a SM prospect, I'm interested as well.

In hockey, I'm in a 4-5 team battle for 3 playoff spots. Making the playoffs would be a huge boast to my team and should solidify the finances for the near future. Two max TFMs are currently in the works, with two more planned for the beginning of next season.

Nice. Good luck! I am against The Mighty Oil so I'm likely out this round, though I did beat him two years ago to make the final. Perhaps I'll just go VH and hope for the best. My hockey team has gone VL all the time until now so I can afford it I think. Even then, I should be able to promote with guys sitting around 80 energy.
Soccer team is on cruise. 6 games left and I have a 15 point lead with the majority of the inactives/nonames left on the schedule. Already run one camp, may run another to ensure I win the League Cup and can play in the SLC next season. No extra sponsor cash but at least it's more OTR and ticket revenue.
