Gotta be honest. I felt really good watching them lose, especially in that fashion. Living in Nationals territory, there are a bunch of new bandwagon fans that talk a ton of trash. but know less about their team than I do.

Let's be honest. In 2008, the same exact thing could have been said about Phillies fans, and can be said about any other team that has success.

I hate the Cardinals. That pissed me off.

I'm indifferent on the playoffs but I'll root for whoever isn't playing on TBS.

Tired of that screeching sound 10 times per half inning any time they pull up a visual

2008 was sold out before the Phillies won anything. In fact, Nationals tickets were still an incredibly easy buy until about June and even then, I bought really cheap seats for the Nats in September. Furthermore, a lot of the people I watched the Phillies clinch with in 2008 were long-suffering fans that had known enough heartbreak to understand what it would be like to win it. Many (certainly, not all) Nats fans weren't even paying attention to the Nats until 3 months ago.

Since 2008, yes, our bandwagon was filled to the brim.

Yeah the Phils had a few close runs where they almost snagged a wild card in the years before and finally made it in the last few games of the 07 season. Phillies had been building up to 2008, they didn't go from back to back first overall picks to best team in baseball. Nat's park was a ghost town a lot of this season, Phillies have been filling the park since Thome.

Ibanez is the first player ever with 3 HR in the 9th inning or later in a single post season. Ridiculous. Ichiro's first career postseason Homer, I feel bad for that guy.

If there is a silver-lining in the Yankees having post-season success, it's Ichiro.

When is Baseball going to realize that afternoon playoffs games are terrible, especially when you only have one game on per day? It's Wednesday and Thursday, you're not competing against an NFL schedule like on Sunday.

Off playoff topic abit I know but one player with local ties the Phils should look at is Zack Braddock, relief pitcher formerly of the Brewers. I dont know all his stats and numbers and all but at least a camp invite. Hes from Mt. Holly,NJ my hometown, and worth at least a chance

Played against him in HS. Nasty stuff. Read he had personal issues. No one picked him up so I guess he's still dealing with them. A lefty who can miss bats is very valuable. He'll get a shot with someone if he's healthy.

Phillies are starting a trend in the past few years of helping right handed corner outfielders find their way to S.F., play like garbage, and find themselves with a championship ring.

Here's hoping Ruf doesn't continue that trend.

Now we gotta hear about all this crap that Hunter Pence's speech inspired the team to win and all that.

So for the positions that we need to fill, who are the top 3 for each area that you would want (outfield, pitching, etc.)
