i like this read on the legacy of Denard. i wouldn't be surprised if in a few years time the same kind of answers are written about Miller.
Braxton wasn't very good last year and rely'd on athletic ability to do everything. He has the right coach for him right now and is only a sophomore. His reads will get better and his throwing will get better as well.

i'm not completely sold on Meyer as a developer of NFL quarterbacks. Tebow has atrocious fundamentals. and i saw first hand how long it took Alex Smith to adjust to the NFL (but i've always been a supporter of him, even in the bleakest of times).

What I meant is that Urban is the best coach for Braxton's skill set. A tailback playing QB.

how 'bout them Red Raiders? then again Geno Smith et al. just might be able to pull of 35 points in 14 minutes.

Is it baseball season yet?

What an awful Autumn for my teams.

That was a TD. He never went down and he kept moving. Can't wait for the ND love-fest to continue.

Things you have to consider.

1. Did a whistle blow?
2. Was an elbow or knee down before the ball crossed (which it did)
3. Was there enough conclusive evidence to overturn the call and keep overtime going?

Neither of these happened. The whistle never blew and the RB was on top of lineman the entire time.

these South Carolina uniforms are terribad.

even if they are "for charity," there's no need to accost the senses. although i'm sure Kellen Winslow II approves of these fatigues.

Indiana is a pretty good team this year (compare to other years). You guys have a ten point lead entering the second half.

I wonder what it is like to play football for Indiana. Obviously, playing D1 is great no matter where you are. But being in the same state as Notre Dame, and even really being overshadowed by Purdue, must take some of the luster off.

That tOSU game was the worst reffed game I have ever seen, on top of the fact that I'm watching the worst defense I've ever seen in my life from tOSU.

They absolutely need a safety more than another corner.
Those corners are serviceable - serviceable in the 3rd CB in a nickel or dime package sort of way. At this point in time, none of them should be starting, and since the start of the season, Ike shouldn't be starting either. He's been pathetic. At least we have safeties. Granted, they'll probably be hurt, but at least they are there. We have very little that is of any redeemable quality at corner.

I haven't watched any sports news on tv in months, so I can only imagine how bad the Notre Dame slobbering is. It's unbearable enough when they field teams that are pure dreck, but now... ugh, Christ.

IMO, it would have been kind of cheap if they gave Stanford that TD. For one, the guy actually lost the ball and it wasn't totally clear to me that he controlled it across the goal line. Also, though the whistle didn't blow, the guy's forward progress was pretty well stopped and he was basically wrapped up.

So even though they could have given the TD, I think that justice was done not giving it.

It's a miracle! Denard "Turnover" Robinson threw no interceptions.

Alameda Ta'Amu faces multiple felonies and misdemeanors.

Quote:
The dispatch supervisor said a stop was initiated by police at about 2:30 a.m. today on 14th Street after a vehicle was spotted moving in a reckless manner. Mr. Ta'amu fled and was apprehended at Sarah Street, but not before he had crashed his vehicle into several others, the dispatcher said.

So ****ing stupid. Just stop, accept your DUI, and life will go on. Now, im sure his Steeler career is over at the very least.

With the amount of charges he's facing, he should be released on Monday.

I have no idea how some of these guys could be so stupid. That creates another monstrous hole that we have to fill almost immediately.
