I'm a bit concerned that we might have a Matt Cassel situation on our hands here. Vick's taken some pretty tough shots; if he ends up staying down, I'm not sure you'll hear an audible gasp from the crowd...
EDIT: Much better in the second half, but on what planet was that offensive PI?

This team is average in every aspect of football, except the fact we have one of the best RB's in the NFL. Yet we don't run and put the ball in the hands of arguably the worst starting QB in football.
It's the defense. Lions have been moving the ball at will in the 4th quarter.
Lions have top 3 offense, they will move the ball. Vick unable to get a 1st down at end, multiple ****ing TurnOvers's again, and Reid refusing to run the ball is why we will lose this game.

I really think that the only way this team gets rebuilt is with a disastrous season.
Don't need a complete rebuild. Try using your good players (Shady) and not have your worst player (Vick) throw the ****ing ball 50 times a game. Get rid of Andy, fix the O line and move on. Vick could actually be half decent if every Defense didn't know that they were passing every damn play.
Yeah they had 3 turnovers but the Lions didn't capitalize on them. Vick gave the defense a 10 point lead with 5 minutes left and they choked.
It's true.
It's also true that if Vick elevates that 3rd down pass anywhere near how he should, the Lions don't get the ball back. Or if Detroit doesn't have a Pop Warner-caliber breakdown in coverage, it's never a 10 point game to begin with.
Mostly, though, I just hate this (particular) team. I get angry at them--almost preemptively. I don't claim there's logic in it.
