Easy save for Ellis to make on Fraser's shot.

You know the funny thing is that Morin actually moves and behaves on the ice quite a bit like the other 23, Wandell.

Vincour missed the puck. Would've been an easy goal.

Some good defensive plays by Chiasson.

Good period by Texas, gotta convert but then again they do have an NHL goalie in goal.

Chiasson has had some nice flashes tonight, stood out more in the 1st period than he did last night.

I've never really watched much AHL hockey, but that was actually some really good hockey to watch.

well that was some good chances to end the period.

They need to take control of this thing in the 2nd. Start lighting that fool Ellis up

I was impressed by how the 4th line started. Gazdic was physical and causing turnovers, and the line got involved in a cycle that lead to a nice shot by Roussel.

Hedden seems to fit really nicely with Morin and Fraser.

I was happy to see Chiasson taking draws.

I agree with Texas' commentator that Vincour and Eakin are showing their NHL experience by making quick, decisive moves with the puck whether it's a pass or a shot.

Eakin didn't need to win me over, but I'm loving him even more after that 1st period PK. He's training with the mindset he's going to be playing in the NHL, and then he gets the bad news that he's going to the AHL because of a lockout. Despite pouting or loosing focus, you can tell he's committed 100% by blocking 2 or 3 shots on the PK.

Chiasson's stickless defense followed up by Oleksiak's dive to clear the puck on the PK was impressive too.

I didn't catch that one, but I'm just happy to be watching any form of Stars hockey at this point.
