Jean's goal was solid.

Miller entered the zone on the LW, and ripped a low hard shot on net. Jean crashed the net, took the rebound in stride, and banged it top-right corner.

The team has barely any true NHL prospects on defense with McIlrath out and he is a rookie. We all knew they would be a weak point especially with Redden not able to play.

Very nice to hear Jean, Miller and Kreider are playing well. I think as the season moves along we will see Yogan and Thomas go through streaks, that is normally how young players develop. Not a big deal if they don't look like All-Stars right away.

Very interested to hear how Haley and Tessier are doing. Might not be flashy players but they have NHL-level potential because of the roles they can fill.
