Tangradi was always intending on having a scrap there, I think. The same dude he thought threw a sketchy hit on Peters, I think, so he had every intention of fighting. Even if the guy did get the jump on him, Tangradi is supposed to be strong on his feet, he went over quite quickly.

Fight #2, Payerl. Didn't seem to fare much better than Tangradi. Everyone's falling over in this game. Bad ice?

Hopefully Macintyre can teach these guys how to stay on their feet during these fights.

Baby Pens seem to unravel a bit in the 3rd after dominating the first two periods.

No communication between Mormina and Morrow there, they pretty much mirrored each other.

I didn't think it was that bad a call, Tangradi was on top of Lehner.

I come home to learn that Hugh freakin' Jessiman, the man of 1 NHL game, scored on the Baby Pens. My friend (a Sens fan) is giving me so much **** for it.

pretty fun game to watch tonight. Your guys future D is scaring me, considering what you already have up front.

You guys dominated the first two periods. Without Lehner, you would have run away with this.

Some observations of mine:

Bennett is bigger than expected. Had a few decent hits.

I thought Morrow got hurt towards the end of the 2nd period. He got hit, but the person that hit him fell down and Morrow then hunched over. He has a hell of a rocket.

The only Pens goal was mostly luck even though they outplayed the Sens most of the game.

Whoever made up the fourth line killed it with Sill. They were probably the best at crashing the net.

Dumoulin played decent. I only noticed him when he took penalties, which I suppose is good/bad for his first Pro game.

Samuelsson had a very solid game. I expected him to be in Wheeling.

Holzapfel... I still don't know how to say his name but he is pretty decent at both ends of the ice.

Dupuis, Ferriero, Smith, and Peters had the games I expected them to bring.

Sadly, they lost but completely outplayed the Sens. A few bad bounces did them in.

"whole-zap-full". Ignore the WBS announcer, he was way off on a ton of names.

Why are the Penguins not playing again until the 19th and then playing 3 games in 3 days.

AHL schedule is heavily slanted to having as many games as possible on the weekend for attendance purposes.

So who played on defense in the game? It looks like they still have 10d on the roster.

They dressed 7. Mormina, Morrow, Samuelsson, Despres, Grant, Dumolin and I forget the last one.

Edit: Strait. Can't believe I forgot him.
