Briere is really at his best when he can get set up behind the net or by the posts; he can be downright brilliant at times. He wasn't really able to do that as much last season.

Very nice. But that being said, I will be happy when his contract is up. It's not his fault he is making 6+ million, that is the Chairman's doing.

the dude earns his money. we were coming off a terrible season and danny, kimmo, and hartnell have a LOT to do with turning the franchise over. look at the big contracts handed out that offseason. briere is the only one that lived up to it. its a lot of money for sure, but knowing what i know now, i would still do it.

330 regular season games as a flyer 267 regular season points.

68 playoff games 64 points.

No because the opposing team is over a point per game when he is on the ice in the playoffs. His performance is completely overrated.
