Haha, I thought the same thing With his hefty salary and Richards and Carter on the team for the foreseeable future, why not conveniently land us our next Sundin

I could maybe see him being available in say 2 years if LA has sucked in the meantime. But I get the feeling they won't trade him after they just won the cup and aren't in salary cap troubles. I can still wish

about a month away from practicing, so likely a good 5-6 weeks before he gets into the lineup.

Anybody know where Andrew Crescenzi, Sam Carrick nd Tyler Brenner are playing. They were to be sent to Fort Wayne but they are not listed anywhere

Kings sweaters, Kings jackets, King tablets, Kings clipboard, Kings hats. It took me awhile but eventually I figured it out.

Did an LA King throw up on them?

Toronto has a "working agreement" with Fort Wayne of ECHL but Carrick to Idaho was "best situation". Crescenzi and Brenner TBD #Marlies

Idaho is the ECHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars and the Texas Stars(AHL Affiliate of Dallas).

Eakins has changed up the lines today. Most notable, Kadri now skating with Colborne and Komarov #Marlies

Ashton was working hard, but just not getting it done. Kadri needs a physical presence with better puck management. Ashton is playing like a 4th liner tbh. I defnitely like the idea of Komarov on his line. Will help to draw some coverage away from Naz.

Aucoin seemed to stop playing after he passed the puck, could just be an adjustment period. However Colborne hasnt been much better at even strength. We will see how this pans out!

I hope this is our top line. I wanted to see Kadri and Colborne play on the same line.

That line would be so boss! Colbourne and Ladri together would be a major offensive threat, especially with gardiner on the back. Komarov would be an entertaining pest

Hopefully joe and naz have good chemistry.

I like the actual NHL prospects on a line together (even though Komarov is only really a 4th line prospect).

Stick all the AHL vets on their own line:

Aucoin - Ziggy - Hamilton

and then have actual NHL candidate lines:

Colborne - Kadri - Komarov
Ashton - McKegg - D'Amigo

with Ross on the 4th line for the time being.

The whole team hasn't been that effective at even strength.

It's two games in, it's hard to evaluate who fits where chemistry wise. I mean, they just broke up Kadri and Aucoin and those two
were the best pair through camp (per reports).

You could really go through every player and find them not playing up to potential - aside from someone like Jake Gardiner and maybe a few others. But, again, it's two games in.

We'll have a better idea of who may fit where after this weekend (3 games in 3 days) I would imagine.

this is a terrible idea.

the point of sacrificing top 6 roster spots to old guys with no NHL potential, instead of saving the ice time for someone with future value to the NHL team, is because they are able to mentor the kids by playing with them. If they play on their own line and don't share the ice with the kids then they might as well not be on the team.

Mixing the vets and the kids is the only way to maximize the intangible value of keeping the old guys around.

Once Colborne throws his weight a little more, he'll be a great player.

Agreed. Most notable thing I noticed in the second game was not many of our players were shooting but just passing it along and it was starting to get frustrating. I think the one who actually was getting good shots were Gards aside from that I couldn't catch much of the game to comment.

Frattin coming back should help in that department though. I feel like him along with Kadri or Colborne will be good. I know Ashton played well with Colborne so I am a bit surprised Eakins didn't put them together again. However he still isn't bring out that offense that he is capable of. It's sort of bugging me now.
