Canucks in other Leagues (Weise, Volpatti thus far)

Just wondering, I can't seem to find any one on the Canucks playing in any of the other pro leagues?

Is it a coincidences you guys think that the Canucks are not playing in abroad? I think I read a few rookies were but I don't see any regulars playing in KHL or the other leagues.

Because no Canucks have gone overseas yet. They're all still here, waiting for an NHL season to get underway. Either they're the most optimistic players in the NHL or the least realistic. Guess we'll see soon enough.

Canucks = least # of guys playing in other leagues?

http://hockey.dobbersports.com/index...bber&Itemid=96

Interesting to note only Weise listed as going overseas...

Couple guys in the minors, but otherwise the Canucks team is laying low during this lockout.

while i am pretty much equally annoyed at both sides in this dispute, good to see our boys not taking jobs from guys in other leagues ... (i guess)

hope they dont get out of shape, relative to other teams...

Burrows' agent said he had a lot of offers, but I think many of the players are holding off. Guys like the Twins, Burrows, Bieksa, etc. have kids that they probably don't want to go away from to go overseas.

I respect the players' decisions either way. They've got to do what's best for their families, just as I would in their position, whether that means staying here and focusing on practices or going overseas to supplement themselves financially.
