It's a bit of a ripoff too...$150 to watch one team's games...$350 to get all games. And I'm assuming it's the same quality as the games we've seen...which, blech.
Yeah that's a rip job and a half at that price! Isn't wangs wife president or something at neulion?

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - AHL: 2GP; 0/0/0, 0PM, Even
Jordan Eberle - AHL: 2GP; 0/0/0, 0PM, Even

Some guy on the main board said that OKC could have an undefeated season. So much for that They'll eventually get their **** together and be a powerhouse though. I heard Justin Schultz has been really good for them.

It's tough justifying spending $149.99 for all BST games/jumbotron feeds. It's low quality and only one teams games for the same price as NHL game center. What can we do to watch hockey at a reasonable price?

I spent $6 on the home opener to test the experience, and let me tell you, it wasn't the greatest. Webpage was slowwwwww to load, and the quality of the feed was terrible at times. Not compared to $149.99 HD product you get from NHL gamecenter.

I realize it's the AHL, but if they had a reasonable price over at Neulion I would probably do it every year.

What a joke... that much money for a crappy feed? I would expect 3D quality if I were paying all that money to watch one team.

Me thinks they get most of their subscriptions from friends and family. I can't believe there are that many hardcore AHL fans that would pay that much for that product (mostly speaking of production quality).

I took a look at the schedule and the Tigers are in Massachusetts next weekend. Friday night in Worcester, Saturday in Springfield, and Sunday at Worcester again. Since Worcester is very accessible for me, I'll be at both those games. I might go to the Springfield game too, but that's an hour a half drive for me.

If anyone else is going or planning on going to any of those games, let me know via PM. We'll make a party out of it.

Pellerin explains why Donovan was a healthy scratch, in the 2nd game of the season.

Benched Sound Tiger Donovan expects better
Michael Fornabaio
Updated 1:10 a.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2012
Matt Donovan, an AHL all-rookie defenseman last year, was on the ice Friday for two Connecticut Whale goals and a play that led to a third. He was a healthy scratch the next night.

Pellerin said he and his staff want to push Donovan and others "past that comfort zone," he said, "to get better so guys can make it to the next level. My job is to make sure they reach that level."

I like how 1 game in he was already holding players accountable.

I wasn't happy with Thompson, being promoted to the isles assistant coaching spot. I wanted Thompson working with Nino in Bridgeport.

I have to give Pellerin props, for how hard he's got the Sound Tigers players right out the gate and for demanding accountability from everyone.

Are Sound Tigers games broadcast over the radio?

I'm editing this post. A Pens fan says the baby Pens games, are broadcast on 102.3 wdmt.
I'd rather listen to a Sound Tigers feed, but the opposing team's feed may have to do.

Sundstrom scores his first goal to put the Tigers up 1-0. On their third pp now. 0-2 so far on the pp.

Nino scores on what sounds like a goaltender flub.

Wishart's played better then I expected.

In the summer, I questioned if he'd get a qualifying offer.

I can't gauge that kid. He's been of interest to me since I called him out as a potential target for nabbing in a trade maybe 3 days before Snow swapped Roloson for him. (If Eklund can do it, why can't I? )

There was a point when, had he worked on developing some grit and an edge to his game, he looked like he could be Chris Pronger-lite in a slightly lesser way that some feel Hamonic to be Shea Weber-lite. Decent on the power play, capable of passing well enough to create a rush or two and capable of hitting hard - but only on the rare instances when he throws a hit. Snakebitten similar to how Okposo was, perhaps?

I no longer think he'll be a bonafide, top-4 NHL-er, but it's good to see him perform like he may have a chance to work his way back into the top-6 before the clutch of d-men I think of as "The Cavalry" arrives, though I do doubt his chances. Still, good to see the team recognize him as a bit of a leader. As many have said about other players previously, his window to "put it all together" and work his way back up ain't exactly open, but there's enough space so that it isn't entirely closed. He is only 24, for the record.

Bridgeport wins 3-2 at Wilkes-Barre. Good game for the UPS line-
Sundstrom, 1 goal, assist, Persson goal, Ullstrom assist.
Just saw on islanderspointblank that deHaan left the game with an injury to his left arm.

The team itself looks like a pretty good group. When they need to protect the lead, they seem to be able to. Unlike their older counterparts, they seem to be able to get the job done.
Also, really happy Nino is showing up on the scoresheet. I think he is getting comfortable and seems to be finding that offensive game he was missing last year.

Hope it was arm and not shoulder. Another shoulder could be devastating for him.

Agreed. Those shoulder problems have been and continue to be a big ? with respect to his having an NHL career.
