Value of game used, autographed stick?

Hi guys, I have the opportunity to buy a playoff game used stick (Guy Carbonneau's stick) signed by the entire '92-93' team. The stick is in a glass box with a picture of the team lying on the ice with the cup as a backdrop.

I'm also getting 2 seats from the old forum which I know I'm getting at a decent price, but I have no idea what that stick might be worth... Is there any memorabilia pros that can help figure it out?

Well the real value of the item is whatever anyone is willing to pay. The person selling it has his price, and if you are willing to pay that price...then thats the value.

Yeah, for sure, but I mean, some sort of market value.

If it's in a stick case, then the case alone is worth 200+ bucks.

Carbonneau isn't a popular player (in terms of want for his signed stuff, cards, jerseys, etc) and you also have to factor in the stick quality, which is pretty much a crappy piece of wood. If the signature is strong and very clear, then for the signed GU stick and the display case I'd say it's probably around 400 dollars.

Personally, a signed Carbo stick would be nice to have and all, but I wouldn't pay alot for it. Even with a case. That's me, though.

Old forum seats are around 700+ dollars... For 1.

I take it this stuff is to pimp out your man cave ?

You got that right Well the stick isn't only signed by Carbo, it's signed by the entire team. In any case, I opted to buy the seats only for now while I research more on this stick business, hehe.

That was still a good team back then so I'd imagine it'd cost you a lot. 500 + easily so I wouldn't get it if I were on a budget.

I have a friend that can come down and look at this. Than we can talk about price.
You do know that the market for this type of stuff is at an all time low as we speak.
Plus it could sit in the store for months.

So what are you looking to do with it ? Sell it or pawn..... ?

Was looking to buy and keep for the foreseeable futur. I know the prices for the seats is around 700-800 each, so I know for sure I'm getting a good price at 1000 for 2 seats. I also value them more than the stick as they're part of one of the most, if not the most storied sports building of all time, so I opted to go for just the seats. Really excited about getting them!

I'll have them in my office for a while along with my picture with Alfie and my framed Heritage jersey, but they'll also be nice extra places to sit once the man cave is done

By everyone ?

Roy's signature alone increases the value to at least around 550 imo.

If the guy wants 1000 bucks for it I'd be hesitant and to the point no and I'm a big Roy fan...
