First of all here is a list of players who made the opening night roster, however I don't know if they are signed to PTOs (try-out) or SPCs (one year) contract.
Abbotsford : *Steve McCarthy
Adirondack : Rob Bordson
Binghamton : Jack Downing
Connecticut : Scott Pitt, Shayne Wiebe
Houston : Kris Fredheim
Lake Erie : Karl Stollery, Ben Wilson, Jamie MacQueen and Dean Strong
San Antonio : John Lee, Jared Gomes
Charlotte : Dan Ellis
Grand Rapids : Jeff Hoggan
Hamilton : Darryl Boyce
Manchester : Peter Mannino
Norfolk : Jay Rosehill
Rockford : Brett Lebda
St. John's : Brian Sutherby, Derek Whitmore
Texas : Cam Barker, Taylor Vause
-----
I'll add the following players to the list since they were assigned (just like other players on AHL contracts) to the ECHL or the CHL. It seems like some teams (*cough* Binghamton, Houston, Lake Erie *cough*) aren't able to issue a simple press release saying that player X is signed to a AHL contract.
To add depth at center, the Pirates on Monday signed Evan Brophey, a five-year AHL veteran, to a professional try out.
“I’ve coached against Evan for a few years so I have a pretty good understanding of his game,” Edwards said. “Our depth at center was lacking, especially with Martinook being out, so it’s nice to get an experienced guy in here who has played in this league for a couple of years.”
Brophey has notched 62 goals and 85 assists in his AHL career.
Jack Downing was loaned to Elmira by Binghamton
Jamie MacQueen and Ben Wilson were loaned to Denver (CHL) by Lake Erie
I'll add them to the list.
Remaining unknown contracts
Abbotsford : Steve McCarthy
Adirondack : Rob Bordson
Houston : Kris Fredheim

San Antonio : John Lee and Jared Gomes
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday reassigned goaltender Petr Mrazek (M’RAHZ-ihk) and forwards Willie Coetzee (KOHT-zee) and Andrej Nestrasil (ahn-DRAY NEHS-tra-shihl) to the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye from the Grand Rapids Griffins. Additionally, the Griffins assigned forward Luke Glendening to the Walleye and signed forward Jeff Hoggan (HOH-guhn) to a one-year contract.

I did a little research and I found out that a few players, that were on AHL contracts last season, have retired.
Quote:
F Garth Murray (63GP, 3-10-13) — The first-ever winner of the IceCaps’ fans’ choice award and St. John’s penalty-minute leader (112) last season, Murray retired and is currently taking an extended tour of Europe. In fact, Murray and some of his former teammates met at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport as Murray was heading overseas, and the IceCaps were returning from their season-opening road trip.
A 12-year veteran of the National Hockey League, Adam Mair has joined the Canisius College hockey staff as Director of Player Development, announced by head coach Dave Smith on Monday.
Curtis McElhinney made 23 saves in the Falcons goal. Springfield's goalies are being instructed by retired goalie Manny Legace, one of the most popular players in Falcons history.
Also Denis Hamel returned to Quebec to play for the Saguenay Marquis in the LNAH. He is likely done at the pro level.
There are still a few players remaining on the 2012 AHL UFA list (Post #2) : J.P. Testwuide (Abbotsford), Myles Stoesz (Albany) Dan Henningson (Binghamton), Chris Murray (Charlotte), Kevin Doell (Chicago), Jeff Prough (Connecticut), Mike Thomas (Grand Rapids), T.J. Fast (Hamilton), Graham Mink (Hershey), Daren Machesney (Hershey), Mike Brennan (Lake Erie), Chris Cahill (Milwaukee), Dave Leaderer (Milwaukee), Garrett Suter (Milwaukee), Bryan Helmer (Oklahoma), David LeNeveu (Oklahoma), Chase Polacek (Peoria), Jake Gannon (Peoria), Spencer Bennett (Portland), Scott Fleming (Portland), Jeff Jakaitis (Rochester), Nathan Smith (Syracuse) Ryan McGinnis (Syracuse), Nick Layton (Texas), Josh Engel (Toronto), Kyle Neuber (Toronto), Matt Rust (Wilkes-Barres)
At this point, I guess it's safe to say that most of these players have retired
Ryan Parent upgraded his PTO to a SPC

Per Elite Prospects, Doell just signed with Klagenfurter of Austria.

Oh, and, again per Elite Prospects, Mike Brennan just signed with Florida of the ECHL.
The Oklahoma City Barons signed forward Eric Hunter to an American Hockey League contract, General Manager Bill Scott announced today.
Hunter, 26, signed with the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL during the summer, but attended training camp with the Barons in October. With Stockton, Hunter has six points (1-5-6) in nine games played. Last season, the 6-1, 194-pounder from Winnipeg, Manitoba played in 75 games with the Lake Erie Monsters and scored 16 points (6-10-16).
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed forward Bobby Farnham to a professional tryout agreement.
Skating in his first full professional season, Farnham has posted three goals, one assist and 46 penalty minutes in nine games with the Wheeling Nailers.
Houston Aeros General Manager Jim Mill announced on Wednesday that forward Ryan Ginand has been recalled from the Orlando Solar Bears, the Aeros ECHL affiliate.
This confirms that Ryan Ginand is signed to a AHL contract
He'll also add Jared Gomes to the list
Quote:
Invited to camp on a tryout, Gomes made such an impression that coaches had no choice but to keep him. The Florida Panthers, NHL affiliate of the Rampage, signed him to an AHL contract.
