Also Grabovski is playing with Geno? lol.
Lots of spelling and grammar mistakes as well but well worth the full read.
Favorite part:
His(Geno's) MVP season of 2011-12 versus your MVP season of 2006-07. Which was better?
"Mine was so long ago. How old was I? 20? No it was my second year. I was 19. What are the stats?"
He had 109 points. You had 120. He had a few more goals. But you didn’t have a 40-goal guy like James Neal on your wing.
"That’s right. You be the judge of that. Me and ‘Geno’ have some good arguments about that. I don’t know. I don’t remember the power plays and stuff like that There might have been a few more. I did have 120 points so I’ll always have that on him."
Also Sid saying Vokoun catches from the "silly-side".

Excellent read thanks! Definitely one of the longer Crosby interviews I've seen. Loved him not backing down about all the crap he gets from people around the league.
That was a pretty good read for a change. I loved his answers about which MVP season was better. "Wait, how old was I... 20? No, 19.... yah I did score more points didn't I? No I didn't have Neal either..." I like that the two of them argue it out as to who's best although you'll never see them publicly state it that way.
I'm pretty sure the concussion changed his thinking patterns permanently, his answers are a million times more blunt and honest than they used to be. I like it.

Yeah, he's forgotten that he's supposed to give robotic answers.
I don’t try to go after his wrists but if I caught it, I’m not sorry for it. I think it’s hilarious I hear that stuff from Philly. It’s comedy to me to be honest with you. They’re probably involved in that stuff more than any team in the league and they’re the ones always talking about it. I guess I’m not apologetic.

Probably figured out he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't no matter what he says. So he may as well make his public statements as saucy as his playing style for a change. Let some of these younger phenoms on other teams be the face of the league for a change.
Good read. I was worried I was going to have to rip into Crosby though as I thought the statement was going to be about players having something to prove to the owners.
He's definitely changed the way he does interviews. He's dropped a lot of the programmed, political correctness and speaks his mind without giving a rats ass.

Which is great IMO.
After 7 years of being in the league I think he's earned the right and the ability to finally speak his mind and not give a ****. Obviously he's still highly marketable but really...get the extra "Face Of The NHL" pressure crap off his back.
I prefer the players speak appropriately in interviews, but im glad he was honest what he feels about the incidents regarding Giroux (who i have lost a lot of respect for) and other crybabies in Philly
It's been pretty funny watching the Philly Fan response to this. Listening to the Flyers lecture somebody else on playing dirty would be like the Catholic Church lecturing Penn State for enabling pedophiles.
not sure why my whole comment was deleted, but like i tried to say this morning I do hope Sid has learned to get over what other people say about him. trying to be something you're not and listening to every whisper can eat people alive
