TSN radio staying is the smallest part of this news. **** you Bell.
I'm happy about TSN radio staying but that doesn't mean anything for me during this ****ing lockout anyway, but the better news is Bell not owning everything.

Exactly. Makes me a happy man to see the CRTC finally doing their jobs.
Instead of making opaque judgements based on theoretical pricing conspiracies & economics, I wish CRTC would do something useful like end cable bundling, or allow more foreign competition into canada telcomm land, stuff that would be proven to lower costs for consumers.
Combining sports with a really important Anglo News station(CJAD) in Montreal was not right, seriously if the ALs-Impact conflicted, then Montreal would lose it's Rock Station for 3 hours to cover sports games. Anglo Montreal is already at it's minimum.
Bell can apply for another frequency or try to purchase the many French ones aval for an RDS station. Montreal should have both languages on Air always...
A lot of people in Ottawa are going to happy about what this should mean to TSN 690 as well. I hope Bell doesn't do anything stupid. Some good news amid all the NHL crap.

Amen to this. When I moved in from Europe, it was like a 15 year ago flashback: limited internet (WTF?!), heavy prices for cable/internet/cell AND you pay incoming calls!
Now it just seems normal lol.
Quebecor has wrapped itself up in the fleur de lys so its gouging of Quebec consumers is a strategic asset.
Quebecor's services don't operate anywhere else other than Quebec. I live in Southern Ontario and very few people know what Videotron is, unless they are former quebecers.
