An idea I came up with (and executed) last night to get a better idea of my fiscal future:
Set up an offline Be A Pro league, take your team, fill it with whatever RFAs you currently posses and sim through an entire season to see what they ask for at the end. Pretty much all of my guys except one (Halishuck was a 83 vs. the 77 he is in our league) had very close overalls after one season so I just took 1M off what the previously mentioned one wanted and used that as a best guess moving forward.
I must have spent 2 hours after Dallas finished making me look silly in the shootout planning my offseason... filled half a notebook, haha.
Btw, since this is my first online BAGM, how does FA and the draft work?
We dont really know how it works yet, as this is our first year. Some other people in the league might be in other leagues with info on how it works though

It takes FOREVER. lol
You advance like twice between end of the season and day before draft, then agan to draft day (so you can set priorities), then advance past draft to first day of RFA, then RFA week lasts like 3 windows. July 1 is its own window, and then I think its like 2 week increments from there.

It's more like 4 or 5 times before the draft. Really stupid. Two times it just advances times, then you get two time periods to set your draft order, and maybe one more after that.
Ragging the puck is not cool... Shouldn't be allowed I don't care what strategy a team is using.
I don't know what the deal was. I came in ready to play, and sat through the 1st. He beat me fair and square though, and the 3rd was fun. I just don't care to waste the time, once he had a lead, fine, but it was 0-0 and the puck didn't move from Hedman's stick in his zone until 12:00+ minutes into the 1st.
To be honest, I was worried he had a secret strategy, but it was basically to hope for a Stamkos breakaway, or simply shoot low far side and tap in the rebound. Once I realized that was the plan, it was a reasonably competitive game--3-2 in the end.
Ultimately, it's on me. I should have suspected that was the plan, and I just wasn't ready to defend. To be fair, he needed the win to make sure he made the playoffs, and the strategy worked.

Edit: **** you calgary too, gift wrapping your entire fast second line to Detroit.
Dude, what is your problem? You lose one game, and you got off the deep end. I sent you a good game message, congratulated you on a hard fought game, and you give me some snippy remarks as a response..
If I had known you wanted the win so bad, I would have pulled my goalie for you....

Like I said in the message I just sent you, I get frustrated when I lose and feel like it's out of my control. I apologize.

I was going to try to keep this to PMs, but I guess not.
I won the opening faceoff and saw you immediately went towards your zone with your center. None of your wingers came for me either. I started to skate backwards to gain some momentum to skate up the ice, but noticed you still weren't forechecking me. All 5 of your skaters were on your side of the red line. Why would I try to skate through that or try to dump and chase, something my small forwards can't do well? After seeing that you still weren't coming after me at all, I just stood there right inside my blue line, waiting for you to do something. Neither of us blinked, so after about 5 minutes of game time, I just took the puck up the ice and tried to work the dump and chase. I didn't even do it after I took the 1-0 lead. It only happened during the very beginning of the game.

I agree the 3rd period was a blast.
Disagree with the details, agree with the basics. You won the face-off, I got ready to defend. You sat there with the puck.
We both got a garbage goal, and I missed too many one-times in the slot. You deserved the win, but it wasn't much fun--and I generally relish my (numerous) losses.
