Looking for a 1990 Red Sox road jersey with the Tony Conigliaro armband they wore that year. Reason for being so specific, I was a big Dwight Evans fan growing up and would like to get a jersey. That was his last year with the Sox and the first year they put names on their road unis. He wore #24 and I refuse to go no-name for fear of it being confused for a Manny piece of **** Ramirez jersey. And I'm very AR about it being accurate. Has anyone ever seen one online? Already customized for Evans 24 would be perfect of course.
Pardon my drunkness... but was wondering if anyone knew any sites to get "cheap" nhl jerseys. not garbage quality, good quality at least, willing to pay $100+ for quality material with full lettering/numbering. I really want a Daneyko #3 with an A on the front, Green away (back then when dark jerseys were AWAY... the way it should be!)
I've personally searched around a lot and have had no luck...

Thanks for the messages, very informative. I love that Marty shirt, but for 20 + 7 = 27 a little too pricey just for a tee shirt. I'd rather save up for a jersey.
Had the sudden urge to get a customized Scott Stevens 2000 jersey as a gift for myself. The 2000 squad was my favorite team of the three championships. Partly because they were an offensive force (albeit, nobody else seems to remember) but mostly because that team coincided with me getting my academic life back in order.
Being a jersey nerd, I was flip flopping between a couple options on eBay. There was a Koho (2000-2004 era) sweater pre-customized with Stevens and I could have added the nhl2000 and Cup patches. But for the 1999-00 season, Pro Player was the manufacturer. Decided to get a blank Pro Player jersey and have the name/number added. Unfortunately that won't be ready for the holidays.
Unfortunately this is opening Pandora's box for me. Definitely getting a 2003 patch for one of my Brodeur jerseys. After seeing some cheap (used) blank jerseys on eBay, now I'm tempted to get an Arnott customized with the 2000 patches and a Niedermayer with 1995.
JerseyExpress just e-mailed me that they got their authentic jerseys in finally. They are going through old orders and filling them first though. These should be the new Reebok jerseys. I am still getting mine since I'm not paying for it and will report when it arrives.
God tier. They have these and the old Broome Dusters jerseys in Binghamton. They're authentic Reebok air knit and immediately got added to my Christmas wish list for the family.

Received the 95/00/03 Stanley Cup patches. Have any of you ironed these on before? Read a couple reviews about the glue not staying on properly, so I might have these sewn instead.
Yup, sewn on it is. I ordered a red Pro Player jersey from the 1999-00 season on eBay. Going to have it customized with Stevens and the Cup+nhl2000 patches.
Being a geek, I forced myself to get the Pro Player jersey rather than get a Reebok jersey customized.
Planning on putting the 2003 patch on my CCM Brodeur jersey. Debating what to do with the 1995 patch. I have a Daneyko jersey that would be decent, but it has an alternate captain's A on it which Kenny didn't have yet in 1995. Thought about getting a blank jersey and having Niedermayer customized. Also giving some thought to getting a Guerin jersey since I nearly got that one way back when instead of my original Brodeur.
My jersey with the '03 patch is a Langenbrunner and the '95 one (my personal favorite jersey) is a Stevens jersey, all era correct material, manufacturer, etc. **** that one could possibly be anal over when customizing a jersey.

Heh, I'm glad there's somebody else who understands. Pulled out a few jerseys and explained to my friend what the difference between the jerseys over the years have been.
Spotted a new 2000-2004 era Koho jersey already customized with Stevens last month. Really wanted to get it, but I knew I wanted to get the 2000 patch and couldn't accept having it on the 'wrong' jersey.
The 2000 team remains my favorite since that run coincided with me getting my college academic career/life in general back in shape.

lol I know the feeling. Not really anybody around my area that pays attention that closely to this stuff. I had to check up on the make of the baby blue Kovalchuk Thrashers jersey I had to make sure it was the right time frame to get the anniversary and memorial patches on it. Then I wear it to a hockey game where I see cheap knockoffs left and right.
Anyone know of a good place to get customized NCAA jerseys and not of the big name programs (Colorado College, Alabama-Huntsville, Mich Tech, etc...)? Thanks in advance.
Btw - I'd LOVE to get one of those Binghamton Whalers jerseys. They look sweet!
Otherwise, eBay's probably your best bet. I should have bought another one a couple weeks ago ($35 after s/h) but forgot to set a reminder for the auction ending. Although you have to take a leap of faith since most of the CCM era jerseys are worn. There are a few that are new with tags though, $50-100 range.

The font on the white Michigan jersey seemed a little bit off, so I decided not to order one. Their other sample Michigan jerseys (along with the other schools) looked fine though.

Your best bet is to pick a school and then try to find out who does their customizing. I called up the Boston College hockey director of operations and just asked him. He was more than happy to provide the info. Keep in mind that these places are not supposed to customize names and numbers of current players.
I`ve always wore hats, but never of this kind. I guess you guys have more experience with fitted 59FIFTY NewEra hats. What size would you take, 7 1/8 or 7 1/4? I measured my head and according to this chart:
I`m in between those (57+ cm). The problem is that my head is not round and therefore when I keep the shield flat, it`ll leave small gaps in the corners (on the front side; which is probably common, I`m just not used to that lol). I tried both in my friend`s shop, one felt a bit tight, the other one a bit loose. But I guess those gaps are unavoidable, so I should focus on finding the right size.
Is it just a matter of preference? What do you guys prefer? Thanks in advance.
