I kind of love that Papa Troy has finally let Sid be a Real Boy and allows him to give semi-entertaining interviews now.

That being said, Crosby/Giroux is a million times better than what Crosby/Ovechkin ever hoped to be, and the lockout needs to END. NOW.

It was glorious watching the Flyers knock Crosby and the Pens out of the playoffs./exit Capt. Obvious.

I just really want to see next Crosby/Giroux-battle. As someone mentioned, this is just so much better than AO/Sid, which was more of a media battle. Crosby/Giroux is just pure war. Giroux and Philly just got under Crosbys skin and that affected to his play and behaviour.

It´s really interesting to see how Pens and especially Sid will cope with the rivalry in the future.

I actually liked the interview from him and don't really think he said anything that should be criticized. The only thing that makes me dislike him is when an interviewer or media person calls him or the Pens out for playing chippy or dirty. In the interview he's asked about the slashes and turns it around about how the Flyers are one of the dirtiest teams with doing stuff like that. After all the cheapshots in Game 3 when the media called out the Pens for playing dirty he starts saying how the Flyers are always playing cheap blah blah. Seems like he can never just take responsibility and own up that his"holier than thou" franchise actually got pissed off and took some liberties and cheapshots. He's always the victim.

I don't have much issue with what hew said. Teams always do it. The problem I have is from a personal perspective, there isn't much benefit to inciting retaliation. As stated, he's one hit from his career being over and it isn't too smart to draw more attention to one's self than is necessary. Frankly, he was never the same after the collision with Malkin, so I'm certain teams are going to physically test Crosby either way to see if they can influence his play.

Cindy Crosby needs to change his manpon. Let's see if Claude returns a favor or two when the game is back on. Crosby's a ******....the ultimate in ******-baggery. The starred item rhymes with moosh, by the way

I love the rivalry. I can't wait until Toronto and Montreal don't suck so we can have a real rivalry like this again.

Stay passionate, Philly.

Toronto was my most hated team outside of the Atlantic division teams in the early 2000's

It's a little easier to not care as much when your team is out of the playoffs annually. It'll be harder to hate you now that you have JVR too. But I look forward to the rivalry being renewed too

It'll be tough to replicate that without 3 "goons" apiece rolling out from each bench (Belak, Tucker, Domi/Brashear, Fedoruk, McAllister) followed by line after line of potential hall-of-famers from each side. What a sick rivalry it was.

If you actually read the thread you'll have your answer.
