how do teams get picked for something like this? I have a cousin that played for UNH and so always wanted to go to games closer to home.
I don't think it's MSG picking teams as much as it is Cornell taking the initiative to schedule a game there. In 2007 Cornell and BU signed an agreement to bring back their rivalry and play a three game series. The first game was at MSG and then it was supposed to be home and home for the last 2 games. The game at MSG in 2007 ended up being really successful and selling out so they moved the other 2 games to MSG. Since the games do really well (Cornell is a huge hockey school with a ton of alumni in NYC and each game has been on a Saturday night during Thanksgiving weekend) they scheduled another game for the same date this year
Anyone need tickets? I bought 4 tickets a while back thinking my brother/friends would go, but they all suck
I'm still not sure about my brother as he hasn't texted me back, but I doubt he'll go. So I have 2, probably 3 tickets available in the 200s (I will post the exact section when I get home). Face value is $50 each.
Edit: My brother is out, as expected, so I have 3 tickets available.
