The Eisbären play in the blue jerseys at home and in the white ones on the road (so Brière and Giroux have played 1 game in each jersey so far). The red jerseys are their 3rd-jerseys and might only be worn 2 or 3 times during the season. This Sunday they will play in special pink ones ("Pinktober").
Tomorrow's game will be the 12th of the season for the Eisbären and the 3rd for your two guys.

My housemate and close friend is traveling throughout Europe for a couple months, and while in Berlin this week, landed tix to the Eisbaren game.....THEN landed a meet and greet with Giroux down in the locker room. Lucky SOB. He posted a pic, but I'm still waiting for more details.

Two years ago, one of our players (Stefan Ustorf) started it by playing with pink sticks in October and last season the team played one game in pink jerseys. This year they even wear pink gloves for all October games and again pink jerseys for one game.
Looks like Simmonds and his friend Chris Stewart are leaving Germany and heading to the Czech Republic. They only had 30 day contracts and weren't interested in resigning once they expired. It's unknown what their team will be.
