Why? Just curious. I know the NHL has gotten smaller, but Bundy probably has 4 inches and 40 pounds on Suellentrop. That's just a size difference, so maybe it is playing style?
Suellentrop is a stay at home d-man, like Bundy, but possibly has a better outlet pass and will probably be a better skater.
You didn't mention why he reminds you of Chris Therien and now I'm curious.
I don't particularly see a Therien comparison myself. I will say, though, that Therien when he was young was a very good skater for such a big guy. He didn't become slow until the latter stages of his career.
Suellentrop has made good progress early this year. I don't know if he projects yet as an NHL starting defenseman but he's moving toward that direction.

Yes, he's not big enough to be Bundy. He reminded me of Gord Murphy, another General. All around play with some size, good skating, some toughness. Let's hope he keeps developing.
My reasoning for comparing Sullentrop to Therrien is as follows:
1) In terms of positioning, Sullentrop is fantastic, very similar to the way Therrien was
2) In terms of overall play, Sullentrop realizes what his limits are and he plays within them, something that Therrien also did
3) Much like Therrien (once he got to the NHL), Sullentrop will never be known as a puck mover
4) Sullentrop will always try to make the safe play every time he's on the ice. Once again, the same can be said for Therrien and how he played his role while with the Flyers
5) Both are known to make the occasional brain fart and it's always at the most inopportune time
6) Sullentrop is a more physical defender, but Therrien was a much better skater
7) Both are excellent team guys and are willing to do what ever it takes to stand up or help out a teammate
That's my reasoning why I said Sullentrop reminds me of Therrien. With that being said, I guess more than anything, it's all in the eye of the beholder in terms of comparisons. I do think Sullentrop will develop into a good number 5 and maybe end up a Brad Marsh type of player.
Titans won 3-1. Noebels with a goal and Akeson with an assist. Kessel also had a goal.
Hoivnen was looking good till get got hurt. He let in 1 goal on 12 shots.
Noebels and Akeson both have 4 points through 3 games. If the NHL starts and the NHL guys in the AHL get sent up, wouldnt be surprised if one or both are recalled.

No news from the coach or GM on Hovinen, but he didn't make the road trip. He'll stay behind to get evaluated further, and Wedgewood will play in his place.
Also, Akeson's being used in some PK situations while in Trenton.
Needless to say, it hasn’t been a good month for Flyers goalie prospect Niko Hovinen.
His latest setback came Wednesday night when he suffered an apparent left collarbone injury during a 3-1 Trenton Titans win over Reading.
The 24-year-old Finnish prospect was struck on the left shoulder with a shot in the second period, left the game, and did not return.
Titans coach Vince Williams told the Trentonian that he was uncertain what damage might have been done to Hovinen’s shoulder. Hovinen’s left arm and shoulder were reportedly wrapped after the game.

Damn it. The one night the Phantoms have a stream I'm not around.
How often do they have a stream for their games, and are they any good?
If Im not mistaken, someone has bought AHL live and is streaming multiple games. So far only once has he streamed the Phantoms though. Hoping he does more honestly.
(Didnt see it this time either, so cant comment on the quality)
