Nashville Predators prospects expect to make an impact in 2012-13
The Predators have defensive stability waiting at the NHL's gates with Ryan Ellis and Roman Josi leading the way, and many of the team's other top prospects are also playing in the AHL with the Milwaukee Admirals. The depth of the organization is apparent in the many notable prospects on the horizon currently developing in junior, college, and European leagues. Below are some of the Nashville Predators prospects to watch during the 2012-13 season.

Ryan Ellis entered the 2009 NHL Draft as one of the top defensive prospects and has the biggest upside in Nashville’s system.… read more
I saw Ellis 10 days ago. He had a cast on his right hand / wrist. He has missed the first two Admirals games so far.
Jarvinen and Ekholm looked good last night. Jarvinen threw some big hits on the halfwalls. Ekholm is a good skater and a steady D-man.
Taylor Beck is the RW on the second line in Milwaukee. Strong guy near the net, not the fastest guy on the ice. He will get the puck and send it into the slot to a teammate.
Is Beck or Latta better? I remember them both coming off the same junior team and people saying Beck was better offensively, Latta defensively. Still true?

Most were saying that Latta will be the first call up but last game he was piling up PIMS like someone was talking about his mama while stepping on his crotch.
Specifically: 1 fighting major, 1 high sticking, 1 checking to the head.

Cehlin seems to have shown some kick scoring 3G in 2 games on the top line paired with Mueller and Bourque
I remember seeing him at camp and in the WCs and thinking he was good. Smallish IIRC, but skilled. Am I right in saying he is kind of a top 6 or bust guy? Didn't seem to have the size or physicality for bottom 6.

I really like Cehlin. He reminds me a lot of Erat. Great skater. At prospect camp this year he was head and shoulders above anyone I saw him on the ice with. Always seems to grow as a player each year. Coachable too. I think he could be a sleeper when all is said and done. If he's producing on the top line it's going to be hard to move him down. I wouldn't mind seeing him with Beck an Latta either but he seems to be clicking with Bourque and Mueller.
