He is on a decent Erie team this year. I think before the year is over more people will be agreeing with you that he was a steal. One of the big worries I had about him was that massive minus in the +/-. We knew he was on a bad team but that was steal a missive minus haha. Now that he is on a semi decent team, it's already greatly improved and he is one of the few PPG prospects we still have. My opinion on him has already changed, it will probably continue to change for the better. He may have raised his draft status to a should've been 3rd+ rounder before the year is over.

so far it seems like a good night for our prospect, loving that finn is producing. I hope it was a slapper since people wer praising him for that.

Finn is +12 this year, considering how many mins he plays this is a pretty significant stat. Not bad for a #35 pick huh?

If Oshawa hangs on, I'm going to call a Biggs empty netter for the Gordie hattrick.

Finn is so good. Still can't believe he dropped all the way down to the 2nd round. What a steal. He's a better talent than most any first round pick the leafs have had in recent memory.

not bad if you ask me,

i still don't like the fact he has a 5 goals against. he's been letting in quite a bit from the sounds of it lately.

Which is weird since wasn't it supposed to be a weak draft? Or was it just a draft with not many big standouts but had some pretty good depth?

When that first round was over, I was hoping Burke would trade up and snap up Matt Finn before Edmonton took him.

I was darn sure that Edmonton needing good defenseman would take Matt Finn, he could have easily gone top 15 and he was the guy I hoped the Leafs would get before our collapse to the basement.

If I was an Oiler fan I'd be pissed that the Oilers haven't made good of their early 2nd round picks. Picking high isn't exactly hard, picking high in the 2nd round is tough and they haven't made much of them.

I just don't get how you pick Mitch Moroz above guys like Collberg and Finn.
