Delmas does great job again on the penalty kill for the marlies. Marlies slowed down for sure towards the end and could've been better. Gardiner is arguably the best player on the ice once again tonight.
2 goals by Ryan, 1 by Deschamp (mostly due to a blast by Gardiner that he tipped). Kostka on the powerplay that just trickled in after he shot from the point. Mckegg on a luck bounce for the first one of the game.
Gardiner again the best player on the ice and on the powerplay. Great work so far and I'm glad he's also playing defensively.
If there is a lockout for the full year, I think Gards would benefit massively from it. He'll be there unanimous number 1 for the full year, playing on the top line 5 on 5 and on both special teams, and he'll learn to dominate on a professional level in a low key environment.

I don't have a high opinion of Colborne either, so whatever. As for Frattin, he's a much better player than Kadri. He proved that last year.

I think in general out entire team/prospect will benefit GREATLY if there is a lockout as sad as that sounds. Gards looks smart there and most of all he's shooting very accurately and passing very accurately. I am glad after last year i was worried that he would be the second coming of Kaberle and not shoot at all lol.

Colborne IMO did the best at that time, he was great on setting up the screen.

Maybe he will break out at some point but I cant imagine it being with the leafs. I think the press, fans, wilson and burke comments, the jerking him around broke him.
Seen you make that mistake a few times.
