Pearson gets his first on a PP tip. Monarchs had great movement on the PP before that goal. Toffoli nailed the post on a nice cross-ice pass. Hopefully they can keep up the pressure.
Prokhorkin's handling of the puck down low and along the boards reminds me of Frolov.
I love the way he plays. I'm honestly not surprised the Monarchs have had their best game with Prokhorkin, Pearson, and Toffoli all in the lineup at the same time. First time this season all three have played the same night.
LA's depth on the blueline is amazing. Even David Kolomatis is also on fire to start the year, he now has 6pts in 4gp. All 7 D could maybe have something of an NHL future (although Bodnarchuk, Campbell are likely no more than 7/8 defensemen at best), that is amazing.
I don't know how many people the ridiculous depth that Manchester and LA have in this system. In St. John's, Winnipeg has maybe 5-7 guys that could be NHLers in any role (using them since they are my other favourite team so the only other team I know the system as well as LA's). LA has like 15+, so much that legitimate very solid NHL prospects are scratched every single game. It's freaking awesome. I don't think any other team in the league has the kind of prospect depth that LA has.
Looks like a great game for the guys being called out here (Pearson and Toffoli), wonder if they read these boards and are responding?

they should not had been called out. look at it over time. Both Pearson and Toffoli are a point a game and at the top of the scoring. I guess it was a good move putting Pearson with Vey and Toffoli their line scored 4 goals.

Monarchs have some shoring up to do in the defensive zone, but at least they seem like they can put the puck in the net. That was a fun game to watch.
There were only a select few degrading Toffoli and Pearson here. I think most of us realize that they are, in fact, very good prospects who are going to need some time to round out their respective games in the AHL. Neither is expected to be a superstar on the Kings.
