Both Button and Seidel had him near 10, Morrison had him in the 20-22 range or was quoted to something like this. This is one time we agree, steal all the way.

If I was an Oiler fan I'd be pissed that the Oilers haven't made good of their early 2nd round picks. Picking high isn't exactly hard, picking high in the 2nd round is tough and they haven't made much of them.

I just don't get how you pick Mitch Moroz above guys like Collberg and Finn.
Yep, I'm not just saying this now, but prior to the draft, I had Finn in there with Trouba, Ceci, Koekkoek, as the next best defenders after the big 4 that went early. We were very lucky to get him, unbelievable damn luck he fell to us.

Matt Finn is 2nd in OHL scoring (defenseman), behind Dougie Hamilton and he's played 2 less games (pretty sure about this).

No stream, but usually there are two to three people watching (they pay $6 a game I believe).

I figured he was top 12, Finn is excellent and it was a miracle we got him that late. Burke must have been laughing about that one. I mean getting the best player in the draft in Rielly and Finn...Astounding

I'm serious Finn > Ceci

I was never a fan of Ceci's, terrible skating style, very robotic and sluggish, low hockey IQ and poor defensively, Matt Finn brings all the offense and physicality Ceci does, while playing incredibly strong defensively and playing the toughest competition in the league.

Finn plays so much like Weber it's ridiculous.

Didn't see that one at all, I thought Finn was a sure fire firster though. We got lucky with him, I rememeber drinking my coffee Saturday morning when we picked him and thinking unbelievable we made one of our best 2nd rd picks in memory!

People on twitter should follow @bcphockeyblog. Real good for quick updates on Leafs prospects.

Just said Rielly got a 10 minute misconduct for yelling at the ref

I keep hoping Finn will turn out even half as good as Weber

Went back looking at Weber's stats. Insane that he used to practically be an enforcer in his early junior days... He has come a very long way.

Yeah..I'm not sure even Weber knew he'd be NHL's best defenseman have a 100M contract. Man I really hope we have a diamond in the rough somewhere in our system.

Finn is currently stats wise on par with Riles, plus 10 even...Captain etc etc, 2 more goals than Riles too. Not saying he is better but he is high caliber for sure.

Ernie I know you are lurking, got to have your comments on Finn, are you a little more convinced now? I don't see how you can have Blacker ahead of him to put it nicer than how you put it. Infact John Eric better revise his prospects rankings next ranking. No way Jesse is going to be better than Finn is.

A fight earlier and now this misconduct. I will be honest, wasn't expecting him to be getting this stuff haha. But I like to see an edge with star players in junior.

You sure he's done for the game? I think it's just a misconduct.
